I consider slow melting butter a feature. Too often I pull out a stick and its poorly melted.
ОтветитьIs this a repost??
ОтветитьHmmm... I am considering, if I would get a better result, if I reduce the power a bit?
ОтветитьI worked with a guy who claimed to have a patent for the popcorn button
ОтветитьGotta disagree about the oz popcorn button we had a microwave back in the early 2000's that did it that way it was actually pretty accurate
ОтветитьMy pet peeve with microwave ovens is that you set a power and a duration rather than a power and a total energy. Recommendations on food packaging often list a number of different durations for different power settings, none of which may be close to what's available on your oven anyway. They could just say "150 kJ at 700 W" and you're good with entering 150 kJ and whatever is the closest available power setting.
ОтветитьOk, I just got back from the store. 2 for 1 Orville Redenbacher's. Just popped up a bag of Kettle Korn via the popcorn button on my Samsung microwave (sense cooking). I think the steam sensor was opposite the steam event, as the I had to stop the cycle at about 20s remaining. That said, I'll reserve judgement until I have better statistics. My wife thinks that I'm popping nuts!
ОтветитьNever get your popcorn from Uncle Joe's discount cornhole! 😱
ОтветитьI subscribed because of alliteration!
Ответить2nd for the Air Fryer. I was looking at them recently and there are just too many choices.
PS: While watching this I am eating bacon from the Sharp you have on screen. It is great on sensing bacon cook times regardless of how many strips.
PAHPCORN
ОтветитьYou should do like no effort Fridays.
All your content is fun but this seems less scripted.
At home? My illusion of this being where you live and work is shattered
ОтветитьYou bear a resemblance to Palmer Luckey, except that you're very cool.
ОтветитьPopcorn People Prefer Prior Preperation and Planning, Packaging Prevents Piss Poor Proper Popcorn Performance Purportedly
ОтветитьOr just not be a student and cook popcorn normally in a saucepan, Then can add real butter and not the powdered butter
ОтветитьPretty proper popcorn publication, pal.
ОтветитьThe butter one might be because, in my observations, [a block of] butter becomes rather explosive.
Although why the butter explodes I'm not entirely sure.
Imagine reading the user manual for appliances...
ОтветитьYour videos are so professional! Great video again
Ответитьmy microwave just pops up the timer and you can change it to what the bag says
ОтветитьLow effort November you say, the clocks you set you do.
ОтветитьPopcorn button must be an US American thing
ОтветитьMy microwave alternates between microwave and broiler modes when you use the popcorn button. Works great on big bags and homemade microwave popcorn. Its garbage for small bags though
ОтветитьPopcorn... button?
ОтветитьAmazing. Here in the UK, I don't recall ever seeing a popcorn button on a microwave!
ОтветитьWe recently moved here and I ain't got a clue how these special functions on a microwave work and what fancy sensors it might have or not.
ОтветитьWhen I was in college the dorm microwave had a bad popcorn button. I wasn't the one who figured it out, but the smoke detectors worked.
ОтветитьCool. This video really popped! (I'll see myself out.)
ОтветитьA true no effort November video would have all the flubs left in. :D
ОтветитьPush the button, Frank.
ОтветитьMy mom's microwave is so old that no photos of a microwave like it exist anywhere on the internet. It has features of "on" and "for how long". That said... the bastard's got tons of power and despite the fact I once destroyed the glass on the bottom by microwaving a twist tie... it works great to this day. Been in use almost every day since the mid 1970s. It cost like $400 back when it was new.
Ответитьnow i want popcorn
ОтветитьFinally all my doubts are answered, great vid as always but wait, what abt the other buttons?
ОтветитьI've been using the popcorn button on various microwaves for at least 20 years now, but I've learned to pay attention to that moment when it starts the time countdown. At that point I apply my own subjective pops-per-second & time-between pops quotient to choose the correct moment to stop the microwave. Maybe I just don't want the microwave making these kinds of choices without my input. :)
ОтветитьThe alliteration is delightful!
ОтветитьExtremely helpful video on account of I have this exact microwave.
ОтветитьHow much popcorn you had to eat to make that research.
ОтветитьI never even noticed there was a reheat button on my microwave! I'm going to try it tonight.
ОтветитьOur microwave has a moisture sensor, but it usually heats up food for way too long unless you're reheating several items. However, the popcorn feature is spot on every time.
ОтветитьThe best microwave I've ever owned is the giant Panasonic microwave that you could cook a whole pizza in. It has both a sensor reheat and an inverter.
ОтветитьPeter Piper popped a pack of popping popcorn, a primer for popping popcorn packs Peter Piper perused...
ОтветитьThe bigger mystery is why this video has over a million views and only 5 likes
ОтветитьOh my god I can't wait for am air frying video. I can almost taste it. Hot.
