I used to be enthralled by Graham Hancock and his theories. After a while tho I realized that how he goes about his presentations of "if it's this it must be this" he's really trying to brainwash followers (without evidence of facts) that he's telling the truth. Basically he's just a narcissist. And Joe Rogan is the poster child of narcissism.
ОтветитьHANCOCK SPEAKS ABOUT NEW EVIDENCE WHILE HIS PROBLEM IS LACK OF EVIDENCE ... ITS ODD
ОтветитьI love how pseudoarcheologists think we can find tiny flint tools made 20,000 years ago in relatively good condition, but completely hand-wave away the lack of any hypothetical supermaterials and tools that would have supposedly been used to build every single massive monument on Earth.
ОтветитьHave you done a video showing how the mainstream view of it all is correct?
ОтветитьGraham Hancock and Joe Rogan are in it for the money, plain and simple. Ppl will believe and buy into what they have to say and sell 🤣
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьDo I believe that we'll one day find ray guns and anti-gravity tools deep in the sands of Egypt? Of course not!
But too many of the counterpoints to Hancock's "theories" seem semantic at best.
"Archelogists say the oldest megalithic structures don't date back more than 6,000 years. Gobekli Tepei disproves this"
Counter point:
"Archeologists never said that. They've said they don't believe they're more than 6,000 years old... but it's possible"
Semantics.
He's a fool! Let's laugh at him! Let's "discredit" him!
Aren't we just proving another point of his that those in the field of antiquity and academia... are very much the bullies he labels them as?
Food for thought...
If we weren't so predictable about interrogating and vivisecting ambassadors from other planets and dimensions, maybe someone would share information about the world-spanning civilizations on Earth in the last half-billion years, and the weapons or natural cataclysms that wiped away every iota, shadow, and squeak of evidence miles deep. Or in the Smithsonian, same thing.
ОтветитьEnjoyed watching your video. Plenty of valid points. Archaeology isn't just one big club, resistant to change.
I've spent many hours watching Graham Hancock vids.
Bottom line for me is that these vids are interesting. I'm not emotionally invested either way. Like with 'Ancient Aliens'. It's great entertainment.
Having said that, it seems pretty obvious to me that the ancient America's were filled by multiple pathways of migration. Not just thru Alaska.
But then, who cares. It doesn't change my life.
Serious Joe Rogan can’t possibly represent the average person. Insulting remark.
ОтветитьIts not gram, its greyam
ОтветитьYou the smartest... Everything you say and states is absolutely right.... Everyone else opinion is bs loo
ОтветитьI gotta be honest i wasnt intrested in Archeology, but when i watched graham's episode with joe rogan my love for Archeology has started, but im glad that i was quick to learn the error of believing him. But my love for archeology persists.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI honestly cant take him serious the them lip fillers
ОтветитьJoe is a remnant of the past. Since proven to be an influencer to the worst in our society and in our close circles. This un-woke thing sets them all apart and it's heartbreaking to find fundamental differences with our family and friends. It's shocking and depressing because these views are somehow grouped together and guarded. Hidden to be honest. They aren't honest with me or themselves.
ОтветитьBut Garham Hancock is actually cool and not a complete dork.
ОтветитьRogan wasn't "fooled"; he is a scammer. Rogan will sell you placebo vitamins whilst lifting weights with his steroid riddled muscles.
ОтветитьAnyone who introduces himself by saying "I give you the straight dope" is definitely not about to give you the straight dope.
I came here openminded and found a charlatan on the opening sentence.
Well done, "historian and teacher"
Graham Hancock and Terrence Howard are from the same school of thought.
ОтветитьIt’s hilarious you start the video with the preface that Rogan is just a simp. Hancock imposes more narratives than the people he’s accusing of doing such.
ОтветитьThis is great. No personal attacks or insults, just straightforward critique of Graham’s claims.
ОтветитьHmm, you've changed, for the "not so" better. You actually looked liked a gangling college boy when you didn't wore a glass and beard, now that you had those two, am not fooled. You still looked like a gangling college boy.
What's your beef with GH? And to all other's who have different belief/theories?
I know! You're catering to those who don't believe them, for subs. Unfortunately, you're grossly outnumbered. They have millions, you have just turned 227K.
Care for another round of debate? A civil engineer vs the "alleged" Antiquity "expert."
Pick the topic. Let's go!
I might join the group saying: enough of this nonsense. This googoo guy has already too much time on social media. Let’s learn something relevant.
ОтветитьThis reminds me of a book that I read way back in 1968. Chariot of the Gods by Erich Von Daniken. He proposed that earth was visited by advanced aliens in the distant past. For example the so called Nazca Lines in Peru. They can only be seen in detail from the air and he opined that one of the lines was a runway for alien crafts to land. My opinion is that Von Daniken actually believed what he proposed. I don't know about Hancock. Except like Von Daniken he too is wrong.
Ответить😳Hancock says: "I strongly resist that archeology is a science. [...]
"It's an attempt to interpret the past based on rather flimsy and limited evidence."
Later on:
"Then I start drinking Ayahuasca in 2003, and I encounter SEEMLESSLY CONVINCING parallel realms inhabited by intelligent beings..."
So, he doesn't trust archeologists, but when he's high on psychedelics, then he finds something "seamlessly convincing?"
🤷♀️ Really?
Man, that closing statement. The sheer brillance of comparing Graham's work with postmodern deconstructivism. To associate a guy who's admired by Joe Rogan as a postmodernis. Irony at its best.
ОтветитьHahaha I love when nameless nobody's try to become not nameless by attacking other people's theories.....how about you come up with your own hypnosis instead of just petteling the same shit your heard some 80 year old teach you on collage 10 years ago 😂
ОтветитьAs someone who's involved in Archaeology, i was out of the loop for 15 years , Carbon dating and gps etc were relativley new. When i returned to the subject it was amazing how much things had changed. i had to get revising and up to date pretty quick.
ОтветитьYour story fell apart as soon as you brought trump into the picture. He lies just to practice lying so he can get better at lying.
ОтветитьHe has links to military intelligence and used to work for the redshield owned 'the economist'
ОтветитьI have been following Graham for quite a while, i believe in an advanced ancient civilization. I would really like to hear this. If anybody is interested i will talk about my thoughts once i finish this video.
ОтветитьPoor joe comes across as the "useful idiot" on this topic.
ОтветитьMore and more people are backing up Mr Hancock theories..
History as we have been told is like swiss cheese..
We only have to look at the pyramids, macchu picchu, easter Island...
Silly headline,
Open to alternate ideas and opinions isn't being fooled, he didn't cheer on Graham during the debate, joe is open minded, I watched the whole thing but the click bait title is cheap and tacky.
I love how the guy who runs this keeps it REAL,NO UFOS ,NO ALIENS OR ANNUNUUKKI, NO ATLANTIS ON THE MOON OR IN AMERICA........KEEPS IT REAL AND GIVES THE ANCIENTS THE CREDIT THEY DESERVE
Ответить🤣😂🤣 I'm gonna laugh even more as soon its gonna be common knowledge.... you know, like spraying the sky... Anyone believeing we are the first intelligent being on this planet is brainwashed into oblivion. 😂🤣😂
ОтветитьJoe Rogan is an absolute disgrace for allowing this. Irresponsible and braindead.
ОтветитьTicklishly funny that both JR and GH said that potsherds were turning up at Gobekli Tepe. Besides the obvious point that they are separated by time and distance and are not related, GT was from the PRE-POTTERY neolithic B era, so no potsherds were recovered there at all.
ОтветитьOn one of the shows Graham talks at length on his weed addiction and how he was writing under the influence most of the time. Now, I'm not saying that people on drugs cannot do art, I'm saying that they cannot do science.
ОтветитьWoke Academics have lost all credibility. No one with a brain is interested in your woke narratives. So smug and so sure of yourself. Not interested!
ОтветитьI would like to see you debate ghram I think maybe you can open his eyes.
ОтветитьJoe's not especially bright I'm afraid... it doesn't make him a bad person, just dangerous.
ОтветитьThank you for highlighting how Joe Rogan spreads misinformation! He is too irresponsible with the huge platform he gives to crack pots.
ОтветитьJoe Rogan’s podcast is for people who want to believe they’re smarter than everyone else while also avoiding any actual thinky pain.
ОтветитьHancock is a good name for him because he whacks off to history instead of learning it.
Ответитьgraham is a fraud and was before Rogan.
ОтветитьThank you Mr Miano. This is an excellent answer to, not just Mr. Hancock's miss-founded ideas, but to so much of what is currently passing as civil discourse in our world.
And
Having taken psychedelics on occasions ranging between 1968 and yesterday, I can assure you, in my considered expert 😊 opinion, the likelihood of finding universal truths about history, or anything else, "in there" is inconceivable to me.
My experiences have always been 100% reliant on my lifetimes pre trip ponderings set into a (I fail to find words) heightened awareness.
There are no grails, holy or otherwise, waiting to be found, that humans everywhere can find and agree to the description of in psychedelic experiences.
Thanks again.
I just became a Patrion Steward.
It's HERBIE Hancock
