ОтветитьI was so disappointed in these however the buns were the best I have made so far. I’m not sure what was wrong with the chicken filling but I found it rather bland and it was not juicy. The buns were tasteless and would have preferred more sugar or salt or both. The texture while not what was explained as soft and cottony but they were the best I’ve made so far. I love your videos and I hope that I made them properly.

ОтветитьMy wrapped Baos (I used char siu filling) looked decent with the pleats, but after I let them proof further in the steamer (without turning on the stove) covered, the baos grew bigger but the pleats sort of merged together and lost definition. The result was a Bao that didn't look pretty after steaming. You can see hints of pleating but no real definition. How can I fix this for my next attempt?
