I wouldn’t call it heartbreaking if anything it felt forced and shock value for the sake of shock value and not great in my opinion.

Honestly I liked the campaign ik it's a unpopular opinion and everyone's gonna kill me but me personally it wasn't as bad as I expected

The fact he got stabbed in the neck and didnt bleed out is so stupid this campaign absolutely sucks and it deserves to be left on a cliffhanger

The death wasn't as impactfull as in the original mw3

Tbh the only mission that I really enjoyed in the campaign was the mission where Price Soap and Burns invade Verdansk stadium trying to catch makarov , it reminded me of the of the Og MW gameplay

Good storyline but like playing the actual campaign wasn't the same

would be dope if instead of captain price survival they exchanged him with ghost that way once mw4 is over along w team 141 ghost is the last guy standing to continue his journey alone w his new team🧠💯

Well according to the old modern warfare 3 makarov started the 3° world war that ended with the death of soap and the delta force and then the daath of Yuri and at the end Makarov

I actually wrote a dream journal entry titled Modern Warfare 4, me thinking the series would never get THAT far, so it feels like my dream may actually come true 😂 mind you, the dream took place in Call of Duty and I wrote it in 2009. May not seem interesting to most but I’m SO HYPED for it!!!

Guys Soap is actually alive, survives headshot and just because we saw the ashes doesn’t mean they’re his. Could be any of the goons dumped in the subway. And when they pour the ashes, the camera zooms out to the gunship or some Russian plane recording them. And soap is actually healing to go into deep cover as another ghost 🤯. I need him alive because he’s literally my main in warzone lol, don’t judge me I’m coping, should’ve been Gaz! Should’ve been a lot of things but soap got played dirty😅

Ok, so from what i can gather
Makarov is part of the inner circle, right before Victor and Imran Zakhaev dies and right before he joined Konni Ultranationalists, so basically the inner circle still exists in the new MW trilogy, but Makarov wasn't the head of the snake.

Soap's death literally means nothing in this reboot, he was barely included in the story, and the only reason Soap is a big character is because of nostalgia.

Sad thing is price was worried about this exact thing happening during the ac130 mission but his team reassured him it would be fine thus only justifying prices actions with shepherd
