Sometimes, just because you can does not mean you should. 😊
ОтветитьThe crazy thing this isnt even the best E5 ive heard him do. The rehearsal for the album was probably the best one, but his E5 (and F5s) in En Butte and at least one of the long ones in Ascolta o padre was better. Don't remember which though.
Also, in Le Postillon he did one that I believe was actually in full voice, although it was a bit pitchy/sharp.
Everyone talking about the E, I personally think it was brilliant. I would have to say it’s a thick head voice or extremely thick falsetto. He’s still using his diaphragm but he’s not in chest register at all so I wouldn’t say it’s chest or mixed. None the less this is not a cheap falsetto note as some ignorant people have mentioned. This guy is brilliant
ОтветитьDang, that E was crazy!!
Ответитьhigh E !! - falsetto!!! non e il reghistro naturale...
ОтветитьПиздец, что это было
ОтветитьI would say that was a HEAD VOICE “E” or FALSETTO AS some would say. Just pushed on real heavy. I’m a very low powerful bass and “I” CAN DO IT.
ОтветитьLegend says that Michael Spyres once stopped a robbery with his diaphragm.
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍👍❤
Ответитьsovrumano
ОтветитьStrepitoso❤
ОтветитьIt is not possible for a male voice to sing high E in lower (chest) register. The thyroarytenoid muscles cut out at high D and falsetto (cricothyroid muscles) take over. You can hear Caruso do it. This is based on vocal muscle physiology and is the same for all male voices. For females the same thing happens an octave higher. You can hear the great female singers of the past do it, like Emmy Destinn, Kirkby Lunn or sometimes Rosa Ponselle.
ОтветитьIt is actually sad that so many people are suprised by his singing. He is not a bad singer, but he is deffinetly not a good opera singer. Not only the high note was in full falsetto, the whole singing was weak. Chest engagment was barely there, even at the lowest aka "easier" notes there was NO chest involved. Before you go to high notes you need to conquer the lower range. You need to build power and that power ,later on, must still exist up there. That is the basis of male opera singers. Even at the highest note chest must be involveddd. Without chest there is no clarity, no resonance no nothing...Today's opera singers are not singing opera they are just singing songs. Its not their fault they had the potential, but bad teaching ruined the technique years ago so yesss. It is a pity. I may sound harsh even rude but is just reality. You have to listen old recordings from the 1890-1970 to understand the difference between opera singers' voices from then and now...
ОтветитьTutto bello ma quel finale faticoso non mi convince...
ОтветитьFalsete.....
ОтветитьThat's Falsettone, it's in period
Ответитьmakes me laugh every time
ОтветитьThe secret to how that note sounded was that the conductor used his baton to hit the singer between his legs, but unfortunately the videographer did not give the full picture.
ОтветитьMichael Spyres is the Tiger Woods of opera.
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьDoes this aria exist in Poliuto / I martiri?
ОтветитьBravo❤
ОтветитьHe sounds like a gray area between a baritone and a tenor.
ОтветитьTiene una bravura insuperable y con sello propio, único en su estilo como en su día lo fue Pavarotti, yo creo que lo superará.
Bravo por su humor vocal!!!
Es un falsete. No es voz. Cualquier tenor puede cantar así!
ОтветитьI went to school with that guy, same music department, same years. That dude has always had some seriously MAD SKILLZ! ( nice guy too, and very funny).
Ответить@LeoMaia ai Tenor Absoluto, canta repertorio de Baritono a Tenor Leggero
ОтветитьThat high E was amazingly full throated, soaring into the alto range. To call it a squeak is just ignorant. Bravo, Michael!
Ответить
ОтветитьNo question that Verdi was the consummate Italian genius when it came to opera composing, but there's no one who can top Donizetti for incredibly dramatic orchestrations. Elements are scattered throughout his works -- even lesser-known ones -- and some of my favorites are in "Belisario" (tenor), "Anna Bolena" (bass), and "Lucrezia Borgia" (soprano and chorus).
ОтветитьUnique!!
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьUnbelivable!!!!
ОтветитьWhat kind of suite is he wearing
ОтветитьHorrible🤮
ОтветитьOrribile falsetto....
ОтветитьThe high E is COME SCRITTO! It is a written octave jump, not interpolated, and that is CHEST voice. Mike is the best in the game. Amazing and thrilling
Ответитьthat its not a chest voice , thats head voice and this is trash
ОтветитьIs this video sped up?
ОтветитьFormidabileeeee!!!!!!
ОтветитьUgh. The sudden falsetto is jarring and unpleasant
ОтветитьBRAVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
