Elden Ring Where To Go First | Beginners Guide

I never really liked soulslike games till i got into rogue light indie games. After I finally beat Hollow Knight I knew I was prepared. I ended up choosing Lies of P and was actually able to beat it fully. Somehow the parry mechanics of thay game spoke to me more then dodge rolling. Coming to Elden Ring now.. it honestly feels much easier compared to lies of p. Most of the mobs die in 2-4 hits. I'm fully trained on the "gotcha" mechanics. It becomes pretty clear which bosses you arent ready for and which ones you are not. This guide was helpful to make sure i didnt venture into high level zones too quickly.

I just recently purchased a PS5 and completed God of War Ragnarok 100% complete. I loved the storyline, the graphics, and the game. This is the only game I own, and I am looking to purchase more games.

I quit Warcraft because of the aimlessly farming and grinding and cash to play. The game got old and felt like a constant grind and farm machine with no end. I was debating on purchasing Elden Ring. Is thia game a constant farm/grind and aimlessly wandering around? And is Playstation Plus mandatory or worth it?

I wish game developers understood not everyone played the series so some sort of instruction where to go would be magnificent. I just walked in a circle for 2 hours without a hint of what I’m even suppose to be doing

Yo this help me a ton but you need to run around killing easy ads till you level up and can purchase level up, purchase points because it's not easy. Once you get the hang of the mechanics it's a lot easier still so much I do not understand tho.

This is amazing. Im a huge of DS games. Just recently completed DS3. Which is my first souls game i've been able to complete. got elden ring when it came out. didn't play much as the open world i have no idea where to go that isn't deteriorating. This video is 100% opposite of what i've done. I definitely need to back track a bit from what i've been doing. THANK YOU!

First time playing Elden Ring, I didn't know there was tutorial cave, ended up not knowing everything and abandoning the game 😂😂 I started a new game again today and I enjoyed it. Thanks for the info! I should've seen the guides first after all haha

If you aren't gonna get summoned (weapon level matters) run straight to ruined village precipice area, where the dragon boss is. There's a boatload of smithing stone 4s, just run through. We'll before that of course you'll need 2s and 3s, there's 3s in a few areas on the way going through the lake area. It's worth searching.. and marking on your map. The main way I die lately is poise and drinking potions. Or falling. Poise saves lives but learn the best poise, 51 and 56, then 61 and 70. Ideal is 56 but 51 is OK, most enemies do 50 poise damage in PVE. Some attacks can't be poised through. DON'T EVER BLOCK USING SHIELD IN PVP.

after i left the tutorial cave, i attacked this guy in a white costume, bcuz i didnt think he would fight back, but he did and now i cant do anything. anyone help?

what do you consider low level? 15,20? I'm level 30 and still slayng some wolfs and eagles, others are still too strong?

Well I defeated margit with just lvl 9 hahaha idk why because they say it's the first boss so i followed the grace light and i got there and fight him 😂 i took me 5hrs to defeat him 😂😂😂

Why do I have to watch a video to play the game ? The game is a walking simulator with no to do list like journal for quest or smth like normal game.

straight to the caelid are the best starting area

My dad walked me through my first Elden Ring playthrough. He told me to pick the Prisoner because it is statistically the best, and starts you off with magic. (I never really use magic in video games, I prefer swordplay) he then leads me to the gate front ruins, and told me to sit there and farm the enemies there until I get to a certain level, and specifically level up Vigor until I could beat the big guy in the Gatefront Ruins. I ended up hating Elden Ring, and I put it down for a long time. Now I’m playing as a knight, and I’m having so much fun cheesing bosses with a bolt, and actually getting good at beating enemies.

So this is just an easier version of Demons Souls. I sense a harem in this game already though.

Glad i clicked this, have killed Margit but I never went south, time to go get some tears. Castle Morne gives those nice ds3 vibes, playing faith this run thru.

There is also an enemy right next to the third church of merika who is relatively easy if you have summons to keep him distracted i use him for early game rune farming considering there is a lost grace right across from him IN the church
