Did not work for me,everything goes blank when I run in administrator mode.
I have lost Amped Elektra and a few other free Steinberg Halion instruments because of this error.
even though they are installed and shown as registered,sigh.

I had the problem that the serial number was deactivated in the eLicenser.
Error message Cubase "No valid license found". (Installing Cubase Elements 12)
Didn't get an activation code when I bought it, just a download access key.

Solution: Install on another PC. If this works, you can
generate a license file on another PC via offline activation.
1. Deactivate WLAN/LAN, log out of account, open Activation Manager (offline usage), generate offline license file
2. Upload file to working PC in Activation Manager, create license file
3. Load new license file in Activation Manager

Once in a month I was getting this error with my cubase 9.5, so I had to do all those steps to get things working again. Got tired of this POS and went to reaper. So much better

I will not buy any software that is connected with any "e-licensing" software. You don't own any software that has this type of verification process and it only penalizes the people who legally purchase it. The Ilok system is the same thing. Stay away from these products please!

If I haven't a Soft-elicenser number, how could i get one?

I uninstalled Cubase due to an error now I reinstalled it but when I try to reactivate it says "This eLicenser is deprecated."

I wouldn't advise anyone to buy cubase, I've had it a year and i still have this problem. It's shit program with an 80's dongle. Way too many steps to get going.
