ОтветитьThnx, how to add different waves and mess with settings was killing me, your right the interface is pretty hard (I guess that because of the level of control imageline gives us which is great)but going along with you helped me Sus it out!!
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьBRO !!!! THIS IS AMAZING THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!
ОтветитьHonestly, if you really understand what Imageline is doing, you’d be absolutely amazed at what’s going on here. It may be “hard to do basic things” in Sytrus but the reason is because the developers have programmed a level of control into every single parameter of every part of their software that I have never seen in a DAW before. They have a truly digital approach to synthesis and mixing. Let’s look at
ОтветитьWish I had found you earlier when I started using Sytrus! You just made everything click for me. Bless youuu
ОтветитьRemember you can just dump score log pattern if you forgot what you played fam.

Let’s look at Sytrus and FM Synthesis for a quick example.
What made FM Synthesis super popular was its technological capabilities and cheap price at the time when the first hardware units like the DX7 were released. The level of control they offered over the oscillators and filters was crazy for the technology at the time. However, it was limited. That’s always the problem with analogue, I’ve noticed - you might know what kind of sound you’ll get out of it, but you have limited control over it. The entirety of the digital world and our technology today let’s us get close to unlimited control over things. It’s like the Producer Matrix exists out there and we can just jump into it.
Except that hasn’t been explored too much. And I’ll get to the history of it in just a second. Rn I wanna talk about FL real quick. The guys at IL really hustled to make some dope software. These guys saw the capabilities of digital and have been working on making that Producer Matrix with every version of FL that comes out. All those advanced knobs you have to tweak just to get one sound to the next actually creates the possibility of having all the options between the point A and B. You can make a point in the middle. And many of the features can be controlled and automated. So you can tweak them to give you more possibilities and control over your sound. It’s a plugin that does its best to give you every option. Just look at the harmonics and matrix and tell me they don’t try to give you every option. They literally have a plugin for patching plugins together and making user interfaces and making formulas to automatically control parameters. Because they’re thinking digital. They’re thinking big picture. You can not only make music but you can also make videos and use a video player to synchronise with external files for scoring. You can do so much with just the stock plugins and software if you buy the full version, that I think you’re getting a better bang for your buck with FL Studio than any other DAW on the market! I just wish they’d add a plugin or some kind of compatibility with sheet music... lol
I’ll put the history in the next comment
Can you sometimes do an Afro beat... Thank you 😎
ОтветитьNice tips dude !!! Whenever you play a sick progression and didn't rec don't forget you can do tools->dump score to selected pattern ;)
ОтветитьThe bonus of the internal envelopes/mappings/LFOs is that they're per-voice articulators.
ОтветитьBro i find your work helpful
