Which is the best camera galaxy s8 or Google pixel? Please suggest

the pixel xl is much better in cameras recording video stabilizer and battery in DxOMark the pixel xl has a score of 90 points in cameras and in video 91 points while the s8 has 88 points in video and 88 points in cameras

Agree that the Pixel has an amazing camera and the best that I have seen across a wide variety of shots. It will get beaten by the S8 or iPhone 7+ on some shots but will provide better shots than any phone currently across a wide range of different photographs. I recently broke my Pixel in an accident and so thought that I would give the S8 a closer look along with the new OnePlus 5. Still think that I will be replacing with another Pixel in a few days time, as I don't think that any phone on the market can currently match it. I have heard that the new Huawei P10 has a camera that matches or surpasses the Pixel's but the rest of the phone is nowhere near as good. A shame that if I was going to damage my phone that it wasn't a few more months down the line and the Pixel 2 was out.

I finally had a chance to catch up on a few more videos. I've been subscribed to your channel for a little while and I like your content. For what it's worth I think despite Samsung's best effort with the S8 the Google Pixel is still far and away the best in terms of it's picture quality when it comes to photos, interestingly enough The Galaxy S8 had better video quality showcasing better more noticeable colors in comparison to the Google Pixel when shooting video with the respective phones. I agree with you on software, the S8 has an adept level of options when it comes to how you choose to adjust and improve the quality of the picture when using the camera. For those who want better photo quality with dependable video quality and minimalist approach to software options, the Google Pixel is the way to go. For those who enjoy dependable picture quality, excellent video quality and as I mention before an adept level of options for your software applications for controlling video quality, The Samsung Galaxy S8 is definitely the phone they should chose. I apologize for not having a definitive answer but at least people get two great phones to chose from. This was a great comparison video and I do enjoy your content.

Hi Soldier - I remember when I first saw your channel many years ago. I had instantly become a fan of your content.

However, I have felt that you have missed an opportunity to grow your channel into something bigger. Perhaps this is not part of your goal, but just wanted to give you my thoughts. You no longer release as much content and the quality of what you have been releasing lately has not improved over the years.

The depth of your reviews just isn't really up to par especially with the rise of many other content creators, the bar has risen considerably.

I'm not saying that what you are producing is bad, just that it I don't feel that you have put in as much effort as you are certainly capable of into producing top-notch content.

Hey soldier! can i ask you to do one test, and if you could - would be nice to read your response. I have OnePlus and really hate its microphone due to overloads on loud music/concerts, comparing to my old iPhone 4 and Lumia 925. Can you make a microphone test on video/recording app on both of those phones and just give response, how good they are and do they overload due to loud music? Cheers! Long time follower here:0

C'mon you really say that S8 camera app is good because of pro mode? If I knew about picture and I want and amazing photo I would use a DSLR not my phone so I love the simplicity of the Pixel.

I'm not sure what samsung did with the image processing on the S8, honestly would love to see a comparison between the s7 and s8

Camera is best on google pixel but in overall performance s8 does the best..

Daytime the top flagships are all close. In extreme dark is where the S8 shines compared to others.

I'm actually little confused about this comparement cause in every single other comparison S8 has beat Pixel in low light shots. The front facing camera is also much better than in this video.. Should've shown more selfies and darker low light pictures. If a person watches only this video they'll say that the Pixel is much better which may not be the case, at least according to other tests.

Love my Pixel. Best phone I've ever had. Also, I want to mention it does a great job with 3d images too, especially if you have their Daydream View headset!

I have both phones and i can say Google Pixel win for pictures, for videos Galaxy S8 win.

It is nice to see these cameras side by side and the Pixel did look great in most of those shots but you did show off that one moment with your dog "Gadget", that with the lens flare it could be a turn off for some. Now the saturated colors did look good on the S8 in some cases but a little editing can make pictures from cameras look better!

For these cameras, the most important mode is largely the raw files that are saved. Assuming the company is not deciding to be scumbag with the software development, the camera that delivers the best raw files, will be the best overall camera, as the jpeg processing can always be improved, and in the mean time, you can manually process the raw files.
