Since this is a romance that revolves around doppelgangers, there's a very high chance that Momo found a replicate that has the same personality and romantic behaviour.

When I first watched this series, I thought Fine was a man and that the girl she was dancing with (blue dress) was the queen. I was terribly confused 😭 They kept saying "queen" and I was like "but she's not here?? This dude is here, but the queen is back at the castle... right?? Maybe he's a duke or a prince or something??" LOL 😭😂😂 **I was watching subbed btw which added to my confusion

Don't get me wrong though, I'm happy they made Fine dress androgynously :D This show was very gay but I wish it had COMMITTED to it! 😡 [Spoilers ---> They should have kissed and I'm mad about it]

When I watched this series, I thought this whole was a movie. It turns out is pretty good. Masterful even.

I just finished watching the anime
I have to say it has very very sad story but it was amazing

I wish that there was a full version of this song because its lowkey a bop

I think the most interesting thing about the first episode is that it shows the things that both protagonists have while contrasting what they don’t have and wish for the most.

Fine has music and the autonomy to do as she pleases. Dancing and laughing. But all of that is a ruse in order to distract herself from the trauma she feels having lost someone close to her. She lacks the kind of love that a significant other can give her.

Momo has something like that. Whether a really close friendship or a romantic relationship Momo has the companionship that Fine desires the most. But at the cost she lacks the type of autonomy. Momo lives in this horrific world where music and free will isn’t allowed to ensure victory over the enemy and the overall survival of the human population of the city that both Vampires and Humans are killings themselves over.

Momo desperately wants to listen to music. So much that she’s willing to steal and listen to a music box every night. Resulting in her mother finding out and winning the best mother of the week award… it’s hard to write sarcasm.

The point I’m getting across is that these two work as a jigsaw puzzle. Each one missing a piece and each piece missing from one the other has. With Fine Momo can have music and feel like she’s free to do as she pleases and Fine finally fills the hole that the person in her past left.

It’s beautiful and I’m only like two or three episodes in. So far I’m loving this series though.

Too bad the series is shallow and the plot is illogically paced. Had so much potential. The art style is amazing and soundtrack is really good though

it all goes downhill after the beautiful first episode

Initially I did not like this anime because of the designs of the characters it was a bit jarring for me. But after a while I got used to it and absorbed myself into the story. And the vampires I really like what they did with the vampires very unique. Although there are some cliche elements about vampires but I really do think that they flushed out the story pretty well.

Although I would like more lore to the story. But I think it ended on a pretty good note I don't want to season 2. That would just force the Arthur to have bigger and better steaks.

I know it’s to late for me to say this but I really love this anime so much but sucks about the ending but you know there fight between human and vampire is pointless but I get it humans have no choice but to fight and the vampires just wanna live and Avenge for there people

For such a Short Anime, its such a AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL Story. I Must say though, i almost Cryed/Cried at the ending. I REALLY Wanted to see Fine and Momo Live their Lives Happily together someplace and Also, Even get Married. But I am Happy Momo TRULY did HONOR Fine By creating a TRUE Paradise. a TRUE Eden where Human's and Vampire Coexist in Peace and Harmony.

I love this series. I felt like the story and relationship between Fine and Momo could have been explored more as there was so much potential.

But you know the rule of the thumb? If the people make noise loud enough, they'll listen. Look at what happened with the original design for the Sonic Movie? The Internet spoke and Paramount changed it.

So, by that logic, if enough people demand a continuation or an alternate telling of this story loud enough, to where we see more of Fine and Momo's relationship, then they'll get it.

But it's early days. I don't want to say "no" we won't get it and then we do and vice versa. I'm just leaning on cautious optimism.
