Hell yeah. We should be building more shoot houses for our Soldiers and Marines so they can use them more often. Bullets and Walls are cheap compared to Carriers and Jets. I say an ammo allotment of 50,000 rounds a year for training per Infantryman should do it 😎

This is the kind of stuff I hope to do when I get to my unit. But I've already mentally prepared for the disappointment of the next three years of my life where I'll shovel gravel, move sandbags, and paint rocks. I wish I was born 18 years before I actually was. I'd have at least gotten to do what the Infantry is meant to do.

For future reference: specifically in real combat never 👎 put the SAW gunner as a point man.

Training: Meticulous and fluid movement through confined space, rapidly and accurately engaging enemy combatants through controlled aggression

Real life: Entire fireteam gets wiped entering through the fatal funnel. Follow on fireteam slowly clears through rest of building by mag dumping around corners and cooking grenades. Despite this, casualties still mount to the point where the infantry and their dead comrades are pulled out and the M1 or M2 rolls up to level said building with cannon fire.

True CQB is horrifying and is heavy attrition inducing. Always remember: Bunker clearing battle drill>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>room clearing battle drill. When in doubt, blast them out.

Not a fan of waiting until everyone is in the room and in s nice formation before shooting, but it's a fundamental training not stress training
