It is like a step back in time watching this. I had a black Celica 2ltr lift back 1982 model. My first car at 19 (in 1989) with the same wheels as that with the plastic centre caps. My car needed welding at the rear as it was a show room car then never looked after. I took the fuel tank out to weld in new inner wings / fenders and repaired rusted outer wings / fenders. Gear box was the same as the Supra, basically the same car from the fire wall back. I had pop forward lights but fitted later model pop up ones with a slight bonnet mod. The gear box was so heavy changing the clutch with no lift or pit. I had a oil blockage in the crank at 70 mph which bent a con rod and big end bearing "issue". 21R engine was an old Mercedes iron block, Mercedes crank shaft, a Toyota aluminium head and big carburetor With my dad and brother I had to lift out the head, then the bottom of the engine with gear box last. Rebuilt the engine and it ran for years with electric windows added from a 2.8 Supra that had been scrapped after a bad crash. Regretted selling that car as they are worth over £40,000 now. Broke several fingers working on that car fixing it but loved every second and would do it again in a heart beat.

Your over the top with everything you do is part of what makes your work so high quality. We can stand a delay in your posting the videos if it means you manage to get the job done that you want to. The biggest transformation you've ever witnessed and the great thing is it's all your own doing. That has to be stisfying.

pedal are much easier to work on when your thin. I would probably have to remove the seat to fit in there (I'm 6.0ft and 250lbs). Great job!

Hey Sarah, tgat neutral safety switch, if you wire in a switch to it (hidden toggle or not hidden power antenna/rear window defogger/seat warmer/WHATEVER) you can have an ignition kill switch/theft deterrent for FREE!!!

I always hate working under the dash. Just no comfortable way to get under there

Helpful tip, always open the fill plug b4 opening the drain p!ug

Love your work. Hot tip, crack the fill plugs on diffs and gearboxes first. You can always drive on old oil other than no oil, if you drain them first.

Why on earth are you not wearing protection clothes and eye protection. These are essential while working on automobiles for your safety and protection. Only amateurs do what you are doing.

On those tight bolts and drain plugs, be a bad lover. Not long and strong. Give it a quick jerk.
Better chance of loosening it vs. rounding off the head or slipping and donating knuckle skin.

If you want a unique olfactory experience, take a whiff of GM supercharger oil. It'll clear out your sinuses... and maybe your stomach.

Clutch adjustment is at the slave cylinder to throw out arm. Adjust to give about 1/16 to 3/32" play (guess) The clevis you adjusted sets the pedal pad position relative to the brake pedal. Normally parallel. I posted that before I got to the bottom of the comments. Hope all is OK now.

This was my dream car my senior year of high school in 1983..

Owned an 83. Modified it as much back in the day as i could. Managed to get it going real fast. Loads of fun.

If you ever sell these cars, have a super cut of all the work you've done, with a emphasis on the ocd-etails.

I've made the mistake of removing the drain plug first, instead of the fill plug. Only to discover that the fill plug is seized and proceeds to strip, creating a very large headache. I was a bit surprised to see you remove those drain plugs before the fill plugs. But, I'm glad it worked out for ya. This car is gonna make someone very happy. Great work.
