To be honest Sterling hasnt worked out, he is now injured too so we are down 2 wingers in one of the most pivotal moments of the season. We lack top tier pace that scares teams, every successful Arsenal team I have seen has had that. Luckily Saka got injured before the transfer window and the PL has a lot of pacey, tricky wingers tearing it up atm.
Arsenal are now a very attractive proposition for any player in the world. Let's use our current good standing to be bold and go get someone who can give us a chance to claw back this season.

Not sure what Anthony is on about. We signed four players and promoted two (Cala, Merino, Sterling, Neto, Nwaneri and MLS) to replace the five we let go (Nelson, Eddie, Ramsey, ESR, Viera). So the first team squad grew - it wasnt trimmed.

This season feels like Liverpool 3 years ago when they had all the pieces to challenge again but were wrecked with injuries. Hopefully we come out with something from it and manage better than they did 😂

As we were are always looking for a LW would it be worth bringing the summer signing forward. It doesn’t solve rw but any player coming in will still be a backup where the LW could be a starter.
Nico Williams Is having a bad season, so maybe might be easier to get him out now than in the summer

Lets just give Arteta 2 matches in the festive period to figure out his solutions. One thing we cannot fault Arteta is that he will be working day and night without even sleeping to figure this out. Do you really think the Kroenke's are going to make a permanent signing without a full time sporting director? Trust Mikel and the coaches and the players, especially Martin as the captain. I am just so gutted for B, he is literally my favorite arsenal player of all time, lets just pray for him to get better quickly and not rush anything so his health is prioritized. Edu killed us and left lol, he knew we were understaffed and abandoned ship. Not saying he didnt do better than the last guy but he was SO delayed in his approach. One would've thought it was methodical if it wasn't so strung with errors. From almost making us Brazil FC to unnecessary and panicked loans. I hope the fact that Arteta knew the side was thin wasnt on him because this is madness, are we meant to compete or win!?

Some people miss the point. Not saying we can’t get someone without overpaying…yup we will have to pay more than market price but we have to do it. We are in a desperate position now. What happens if Jesus fitness suffers, he’s not exactly robust. We need at least one attacker. If Semenyo is 50m then we may have to pay 60 to get him. Mbeumo similar or more. Just do it. If we lose Jesus we have lost our goal threat and it won’t be title race we will be challenging for it will be top 4 and can forget about CL or even FA Cup!

My take is don’t buy anyone you wouldn’t buy in the summer and only overpay by 15% max… otherwise hold until the summer, that’s the sensible move .. also some of the takes from this fan base is just so ridiculous 🤦‍♂️

The way some of our fanbase are talking you would think we are Man United in 13th position , we are 3rd in the Premier League and UCL after having one of our top players out injured, football isn’t like buying from Amazon
