I want to get into this game so bad, Ive tried twice, and just got overwhelmed by it all. But it seems so awesome, I want to finally get over that hump. But man, even the beginners video is 2 hours long! But Im gonna get through this, and Im gonna figure out this damn game. The crafting and currency is what REALLY confuses me.

POE Endgame is so damn messy and ugly. Can barely make out what's going on.

this is awesome having guides still now, although i would've mentioned the loot filters and settings near the beginning of the video so that you'd know that when you get started not later on lol.

Can you explain more about gem socket links? Like why do they exist?

So far, I stopped at the end of Chapter 1 so I can go and play for the first time. But I wanted to say: GREAT JOB. You've explained things very well and given a simple explanation to make the skill map/tree/thingie much less intimidating. Most importantly, you've done a lot of work to relieve the excuses and get me to "Just start playing" and theoretically I'll learn as I go. You've put a lot of effort into explaining the part that makes everyone quit.

There just one "massive" disadvantage to this game: because of its "trade system," things get extremely expensive early in the season, and then become inexpensive and often free near the conclusion.

People prefer to "craft" rather than play the game. Other than intriguing features, it's odd that the game's focus is primarily on crafting and flask gulping.
unless you like "stock trading" in real life, you'll find this game exceedingly boring.

In a nutshell - flask gulp, trade. That's how POE works. 
Because auto-flask gulping did not exist in the past, you smashed the keyboard. I haven't played the new version in a long time (since 2018).
