Den Meissel nie auf der Schneidenseite ablegen. Immer andersherum, wenn möglich auf eine Holzleiste. So bleibt er lange scharf.
Superbe 😊

you know you can buy a honing jig🙂
I can do this freehand.
You must remember that when you sharpen a chisel it must be at least 30% but the point of the chisel for at least 2mm shall be 25% that is the proper way so you can work on mortise & tenant joints that's what carpenters do Good luck from Ireland
Comedy gold.
As a lifelong joiner I can tell you now this is crapp. It ain't that easy, and there should be 2 angles of 25° and 30° this how chisels come from the factory, which are never set right until you use your craft to set them up correctly 🤨🙄
Agua no...el agua oxida el metal...penetrante o aceite 3/1
Crazy
Junk
Lol
I’m amazed at the accuracy of the hand saw and sanding - NOT!!
For $15 buy a cheap guide that will far and away be more accurate than anything you can make out of wood.
Easy? No! Simple? No!
What a waste of time could have sharpened half a dozen in that time 😂😂
Please never put your chisel with the sharp side on your Bench or table this is THE way to make it dull
I'am sorry, but this is really UNPROFESSIONELL.
The special needs kid made a tool today to fix another tool.
All the tradesmen are laughing at you
Who comes up with this shite?
Ответитьloooooooooooollll
Another 10 minutes I'm not going to get back. What's with the toothpaste. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Detta är som sagt ett stämjärn
Ответитьpitiful
There's a 10 dollar guide you can buy, instead of doing all that horse shit

Juarez chih.
Formones en lugar de doremonos
Think I would rather just go out and buy a chisel sharpener ffs
Ответитьclose. make your block 3 inches wider than your stone. then make a holder for your stone a hair higher than the stone so the wood never needs to touch it. the wood rides on the wood sides. my chisels look like mirrors back and front but i still wax them with beeswax. i use a 6000 grit stone.
Yiğidin harman olduğu yerdenim
Like Stuart here says, this idiot doing all this useless crap, waiste resources for nothing, as there are far better and simpler ways to sharpen it.
Ответитьwhy doesn't anyone sell these blocks instead of us having to make one?
I think it's Real Important to specify which kind of battery to use and which to Never use. Carbon-Zinc? Alkaline? but NEVER USE LITHIUM ION, which will ignite when it contacts moisture. We can't even take Lithium on a plane unless it's encased in something like a laptop.
Toooooo lengthy! Just use the angle of the chisel for guidance. You'll get there.

Enkelt och snabbt!!!!!??????😂
Ответитьlol all the salty "professionals" commenting here who have been sharpening chisels for 50 years using the accuracy of their eagle eyes and spiggot juice. I enjoyed this video even though I have no interest in making a jig for my chisels. Nice work!
From Italy
The big problem with this method is that the backside doesn't match. I don't know why you use the battery. It would be better if you did leather buffing. There is a limit to setting the edge to the limit with a honing guide. I don't know how to sharpen it by hand, and you can't get extreme sharpness with chromium vanadium or some alloy steel. This is because Japan's carbon steel is the sharpest in the world, too. You may misunderstand it with your misinformation. This is not the way to sharpen it in one minute. It's about not understanding polishing. If you still don't believe it, look at me with a microscope😢
Thx! :)
Das gehr garnicht. Stumpf ohne ende😢 Amateur!!!
