Originally, having a quest 2 was super cool and immersive. Now that I have a PlayStation vr the oculus just collects dust because the processing power can’t even hold up to a console. This game is fantastic pretty much any way you play but immersion is definitely lost once you see how good it is on PlayStation. The quest is a lacking device. If you want a great experience; splurge for a steam vr headset or a PSVR set; you won’t regret it. Plus the PlayStation has far better games than us quest users; meta somewhat lacks quality control, I’d call it the ouya of VR

Now when you just compared PS4 and PS5 graphics to Android running inside Quest 2 device. How about comparison through the lenses and Quest 2 running tethered to PC like other devices?

Other than the fact it's portable/standalone, the Quest 2 has kinda ruined VR gaming to a large degree for me. I think the next VR headset I buy is going to be one that takes me back to the genuine wow factor that I felt when originally playing VR games on my Rift CV1. If that means I have to go back to a tethered PSVR 2 or whatever, then so be it. Screw Meta.

Psvr2 is basically a porting from Quest 2..

The asset quality even in the psvr one is better than the quest 2 might lower resolution in psvr 1 but the models look better. No flashlight in the quest version either

Quest 2 looks a lot like PSVR1 and has low frame rate tracking like the old Move controllers did. I don't know what the polling rate for PSVR2 tracking is but damn it's smooth.

Have you played on regular PS4 or Pro?

The graphics to me for this game is not a very good, clear example, of graphical leap between VR Headsets. If anything, it shows that the PS VR 1 just has a lower resolution for some games, but for others, it has a higher resolution and detail. We've seen this on your Grand Turismo video using the PS VR 1 headset and we saw how good the graphics look there.

No matter the version, it looks like shit
