How sad is it that toyota had to go all out to make a “performance” car and it still can’t beat an average run of the milk Accord 😂 I understand that the two companies have different origins but I respect Honda more in terms of performance bc they don’t need help from others when they build sporty cars whereas Toyota always calls yamaha and subaru for help.

Rather have a natural v6 than a turbo wearing engine out 5 times faster ahaha

Just bought a 2023 Camry XSE V6. It's not the TRD, but so far I'm liking it a lot. Comfy ride, rather sharp handling and plenty of power from that 2GR to keep things interesting in a daily driver. It's not the best at anything, but it's pretty good at everything. If I have a complaint, it's that the gearing is a bit too long. It works though. Does the TRD have the same trans and gearing? If so, that might explain why it lost to the Honda despite having more power. I wonder if it would do better from a highway speed roll around 60 MPH. Mine definitely has some balls at higher speeds.

Anyway, I mostly use it to go to work so it doesn't matter much. I bring out the procharged Mach 1 when I actually want to have fun.

Honda or Toyota, get the performance and reliability. While Mazda is good, they cannot compete with Toyota and Honda engineering. Sorry if someone is butt hurt... Not sorry....

Honda is far better than Toyota and so is a Mazda.

The problem with Camry TRD is all the stuff is like Bolt On body accessories. It looks kool and a bit sporty but unfortunately lacks all the nice amenities of the Camry XSE V6. The TRD is the cheap way of obtaining the 3.5L V6 (2GR-FSK) engine. The Camry TRD 8 Speed Automatic Transmission gear ratio is a bit messed up and should have beat the Accord. The Honda Accord 2.0T Touring is slightly better than the Camry in several categories but sad to say, the cabin noise in the Accord is at least 10 to 12 decibels louder than the Camry. The Mazda 6 is a rather nice sedan. Most people would be happy with Accord 2.0 Touring, Mazda 6 Signature, and Camry XSE V6 (not the TRD). Toyota Camry has options and accessories to make any Camry trim a look-alike TRD which should be exclusive but is not.

The best looking is also the Honda , I purchased one new in 2020 . A 2.0T the unfortunate part was a few weeks ago it got totaled on the freeway . Some young kid rear ended my car an it was a total loss .. 😢 the new 23 accord is ugly and doesn’t offer the 2.0t 😡
