Woodie's NEW Treeguardians VS "All" Bosses! - Don't Starve Together Guide

Hehehehe as a Woodie main that began playing 2 weeks ago that is extremely bad at fighting bosses, these bad boys will come in pretty handy
I know this is very late but thank you for uploading this! Now there’s hope for me to absolutely slap the bosses with ease like some people can do. This video helped me more to beat bosses than combat guides

You do only need 20 tree guards for normal toad

you can accually agro the treeguards to the dragon fly if he manages to burn the idols in enraged mode

I guess if you are up to killing Misery Toadstool, Celestial Champion and other endgame bosses, you might as well swap to Wockerbottom ans spawn 40 treeguards (as I'm doing rn)

i mean if the other bosses kill the trees is win to win for your living log farm and it should be used everytime possible

Hey beard, what mods do you use to showcase items? I can't find the mod anywhere, and it seems very useful, as it shows stats and uses!

I see totems kinda cheap, when tree Guardians drop around 4, if I'm not mistaken, so one of the expensive items will be back, and nightmare fuel isnt that hard to farm, but can be annoying

So this is great for me, as I seem to have inflated tree guard numbers. One world I've had I ended up with over 2 chests of living logs before the 2nd year spring, so I will happily make some wooden armies
And no the tree guard rates were at default

Could be a viable option for fuelweaver. I know he can knock over trees so just trick him into running into a tree and the other guardians will attack. Sure his shield will make him invincible till the unforeseen hands are destroyed but even then the extra healing probably won’t save him.

Try killing a boss with a kamikaze moleworm. When a moleworm eats gunpowder, it explodes. So you get a stack of gunpowder, drop it by the boss and find a way to stop them for a few seconds until the moleworm can detonate the gunpowder next to the boss

Would pigmen be better than the tree guards Because its pretty easy to get a army of pig men (although they only stay loyal for a few days)

So cannot cut so many tree anymore just the treeguard idol good

who knew DST would pick up something bout summons fighting for you from terraria

the only method i have done is using wickerbottom and her tentacle book. Which took me way too long and many deaths. At this point its better and fun to learn and try to kill the boss yourself

For some reason the toadstool and lure plant on toadstool didn’t work for me

it annoys me when you tell people not to try these methods. thats an elitist mindset to have.
people are allowed to use whatever boss killing methods they think are the most fun...dont be a jerk about it

I feel like this is more worth it than you're implying with Toadstool since it's so easy to mass-produce these idols. They basically let you farm an infinite amount of living logs as long as you have grass since you'll go insane while killing all the Treeguards you're spawning and get the fuel you need too, and killing herds of Treeguards is easy as Moose Woodie. With the cost being just a couple living logs, one nightmare fuel, some grass, and a few pinecones per summoning, it seems like an easy way to get an early Misery Toadstool kill to me.

The funniest thing is that you can have those tree guardians sit near boss spawn after you defeat one, and wait till you spawn another one.

It feels strange to explicitly state you don’t endorse doing this when the worst case is you get a bunch of living logs at minimal risk to yourself. It’s not exactly the worst method in the world.

Why do you think their expensive? The idols make getting living logs a joke, you get 6x the logs when they die. And then it’s just grass and nightmare fuel. Both really easy to farm.

18 can do toadstool deathless. 27 grass and 9 nightmare fuel is nothing to kill a hard long boss in like 2 minutes

Could you do a video seeing how viable a fully upgraded were moose is against bosses. And compare it to just base player damage?

At least you can farm living logs (not as it was a better option than wormwood or the lunar grotto) or just troll your friends

Great video, but I disagree with the twins. Took em down in 2 nights using this method. Nightmare fuel is easy to acquire and I doubled my log supply in the process.

Its not practical sure but it is funny killing bosses with army of trees
