If you want to do password recovery in VM like eve-ng you can use below steps:

Use CTRL+C in boot
loader> cmdline recoverymode=1
loader> boot nxos.7.0.3.I7.4.bin
switch(boot-config)# admin-password Cisco@123
switch(boot) # load-nxos



Abort Power On Auto Provisioning
[yes - continue with normal setup, skip - bypass password and basic configuration, no - continue with Power On Auto Provisioning] (yes/skip/no)[no]:
skip
