World Exclusive: Upgrading my Framework Laptop to AMD

Everyone talking about how they love the fact that the CEO knows everything about the product - of course he does. Framework is a small tiny underdog, the CEO wears many, many hats. He said it himself that he's built thousands of units himself. Possibly a huge amount of pre-production and prototype units with a small lean team. All big companies start like that. It's a sign of a very involved and invested CEO.

Those form factors would be amazing to build an overrated PC desk setup. But with 3 computers for 3 different uses.

Battery life for Linux is around 5 hrs on the Intels :(

big respect for both linus and the folks he talked to here. nothing scripted, a few hard questions, but they took it well and responded honestly. i was already sold on framework but now they've really got the ethos to back it up.

Running Microsoft Windows on a Framework laptop is wrong to begin with.
Not too long and Framework releases the first RISC-V or Arm based motherboard.

Please I need a working laptop. I really need one. I don’t mind an old or just used laptop, so far as it works. I need it to work and also study. I’m a software engineering student who doesn’t have a good functioning laptop because right now I can’t afford one. Please and if you can help, please do. I promise to return the favor to anyone in need of help when I’m capable.

This has tipped me over the edge, decision has been made and I'm not a Framework convert. Next laptop is a Framework!

The only reason I don't have a Framework laptop already was the lack of AMD options, so I'm really thrilled to see this! I still want a 9 pin legacy serial port module, though!

Yall know the whole compute module idea with standalone VR? Imagine a Framework mainboard/GPU on your thigh, battery on the other, connected to a PCVR headset on your head
