I jusy watched this again from a year ago, I never got this far into the series but I'm surprised that nobody pointed out - you weren't heating the hunters, you put the heater there for your faith police in the beginning of the last episode. Your hunters won't even try to work during the storm

It's interesting how the mines gonna freeze, it's like a cave to get freeze because of the cold weather outside :D Underground is a lot warmer than outside, doesn't matter what :)

Ooof, it's testing a special kind of patience for me to ignore the HUD notifications like "your scouts reached ________" as you plow ahead on ultra-fast speed.

Was I the only one screaming that he should've put steam hubs near the generator to warm the houses? Seemed like a glaring oversight

This walkthrough is as anxiety ridden as the game itself. Holy hell! This game is just perfect and Skye played it really well and kept it interesting. Usually these kind of games are enjoyed mainly by the player only but oh my I was yelling at the screen at some points!

Great series. Really enjoyed this play through. Got it in the Steam sale and excited to play it tonight.

Damn you did good. When the storm hit my base, it became an absolute disaster. The generator kept dying from lack of coal, I forced people to sacrifice themselves to collect coal 24 hours everytime, the people threatened to overthrow me, hundreds died I used brutality to force order from the chaos. In the end I somehow survived the storm. It was incredible that I survived. It was my first attempt at the game as well. I will play it again to see if I can do as well as you. Great video!

...admittedly, the temperatures may be the apparent heat rather than the ACTUAL temperature. Because true temperatures at the values listed at the end of the storm are sufficient for the nitrogen in the atmosphere to condense and start falling as rain.

Also, not to be a downer, but it has been theorized that a minimum of 500 individuals is needed for a species to survive a genetic bottleneck without dying out within a dozen or so generations. Missed it by that much. Or by 20% anyway.

I wonder if you’d came back to this game and try the DLC scenarios. Great job I loved the game play and commentary.

Great play through. You should do a new 2023 play through. I've completed it yesterday 23rd January. There are new building like large resource stores and you know how much the storm drops. Things have changed in the game.
