Steinberg Download Assistant (for elicenser based products) | Support

I'm abandoning cubase because of this POS activation hell. Every month I get a error like "cant find registered product" "expired date please run maintenance" and then maintenance does nothing, "lcc2 error" and the list goes on. Also got lots of bugs like track image not showing until I delete image files, constant crashes and such even after formatting and upgrading my pc.

I try to get in and does not allow me to enter in download assist. Why thas happens.?

Not working . E licensing not showing up . Been trying over 2 months . Thankyou Cubase . I purchase and this happens

Stupid procedure and nothing like the video above. I just get error messages when attempting to download the library manager and the Steinberg pages won't open despite being logged in. Steinberg, you will have to sort this out. Everyone has the same issue accessing your software.

Crazy is how many accounts, passwords, license software you must have to play vst plugins on pc.

Cant login to mysteinberg account need the 6 digit authenticator code but dont get any notification or what so ever on my iphone!So Im serious f*ckd !Cant even login to support for the same reason !Tried to call to support Europe non of the phones of support work they never pick up so ,im realy lost!Dont know how to fix this!

i just upgraded from HALion 6 to 7 via my eLicenser dongle.

can i switch to a non-dongle license after activation and installation?

It's a real shame. Cubase is the best DAW but the worst Activation/Download/Registration/whatever.

I like the actual software you make (i use cubase, wavelab and a few libraries) , but that activation procedures are pure hell. You have an Elicenser, Download assistant, Activation manager, library manager and probably a few more that I have missed. Sometimes you can use one of them sometimes not. It´s pretty much random which one of them will actually do something. (or the typical : "The elicenser software is too old, please download and update from...blah...." AND it's still too old after updating :-( ) Could you please just make one program that works for installing and activation software and get rid of all the others.

What is the purpose of making this so convoluted?

Its easier to just pirate the software I already paid for!

This security system doesn't stop anyone but paying users!

I have a working version of Cubase 10.5 on my Mac. I've downloaded Cubase 12, installed it. now its making me jump through all these hoops again. why is this so difficult? why isn't the Download Access Code always stored in the Download Assistant? no wonder so many people get put off by using Cubase.

After downloading cubase and putting the access code i dont get the activation code. whats going on? on the video it seems all automatic, but in my case it says "the licence is automatically activated upon initializing cubase le for tascam" (and doesnt work)
