The Russian Pokédex being in here is so funny given it’s a to fall asleep video, I hope sm people heard it vaugley while half asleep and got the shock of a lifetime 😭
ОтветитьThis video almost failed because I found myself laughing at the Russian pokedex.
Ответить"They (GameFreak) didn't want to disappoint their millions of fans." Boy that didn't last long did it
ОтветитьI woke up in the middle of this video and thought I was having some weird fever dream.
ОтветитьGame freak ain't even trying any more 😢
Ответитьbig pokemon fan, Its 3 am. And got this on my recommendation. Thank you! Great video! Goodnight now..
Ответитьthe thing i like the most about the Russian Pokedex is that it's actually good, it actually makes a lot of sense. from now on i'll think that pokemon are actually like that and Game Freak just avoids telling us all of this because it's a kids game.
ОтветитьOmg so much bullshit nonusefull information
ОтветитьYES YES YES YEA YES YES YES YRS
ОтветитьGood night
ОтветитьMasuda learned that in the timeline where Z would be released everyone would die and so he stopped production
Ответить“Not that we condone piracy of course” regarding the 3DS shop games, those would legally be classified as abandonware, meaning it’s actually perfectly fine to pirate them even just for the sake of preservation.
Ответитьnot even half of the video is actual facts
Ответитьholy shi the amount of ads this video has is keeping me up
ОтветитьAs a Russian and a Pokemon fan, the "Russian Pokedex" and a video basically heavily insinuating that this book was somehow the one and only source for Russians to find out about Pokemon is ridiculous and blatantly wrong. Which is especially bad for a facts video. Sure, we wouldn't get a mainline game in Russian for a while, but that is not the point, because the real hardware to play on, let alone official cartridges and disks for most of us were outside most people’s price range or couldn’t be found on the market, and that is with the sea of pirate rips of the game. For most people, the first exposure to Pokemon was the anime (Which is probably true for a lot of you as well) that first aired in Russian in the year 2000 on December 18, and the popularity of it starting to grow from there, with most people never even knowing about this “highly distributed” book in their lives, some kids had it because their clueless parents bought it for them, but it’s impact is massively overstated.
To me, from the opening letter to the reader, it just seems like an old person being confronted with modern ideas and applying a tried and true method of making fiction that is humanization, like all those stories and tales with alive objects or sentient animals portraying human characteristics. And the fact that he was inspired by his daughter is definitely sweet.
Another important fact that is missing, his publisher was a “print on demand” agency and there was little to no quality control for these kinds of books. And only people who “believed” what was written in it were old people just like the writer who made it, and for a young person, it doesn’t take a genius to catch onto the fact that it doesn’t align with their favorite cartoon, a lot of people found it funny, but that is about it. The book is definitely funny and ridiculous, it is now and it was then.
But to claim it somehow was even anything more than a funny book and it’s somehow shaped the perception of Pokemon in Russia already after the Anime came out is quite insulting honestly. It's essentially equivalent to me pulling one of those AI-generated Amazon books about Minecraft and saying "That is how Minecraft is actually viewed in America to this day".
And I know there will be people who will say “It’s not that deep” or something like that, but that is a giant misrepresentation that takes up the 2 hours of this 3 hour of this video, there is more reading of this book than Pokemon facts, shifting the focus to almost making a review of it. And with that misrepresentation, instead of being funny now it sounds more like mocking. At the end of the day, it only serves to support a lot of harmful stereotypes, as evidenced by all “Russian-Vodka-Alcoholic” comments and other such “Jokes” about the author or Russian people in general. Do better people.
how can u put ads on a video meant for sleeping to 😭😭
ОтветитьThat Russian Pokedex sounds like it was written by a very talented 9 year old 😂
Ответитьthnks fer the vid n all the hard work.. u giv lots of infos n helpin me sleep well lel...
ОтветитьSo silly that they didn’t want to disappoint their millions and millions of fans but do that every single year
ОтветитьYep this is exactly what I needed
ОтветитьI just have to say that all these pokedex descriptions from Russia are the most ridiculous shit I've heard in the last 33 years.....whoever came up with all that crap was clearly not fit for the job and probably hooked on serious drugs. It's just a bunch of delusional nonsense.
ОтветитьI’m pretty sure the Pokédex entries were written by AI.
ОтветитьThis is better than my melatonin
ОтветитьWait why is this company trying to copy palworld?
ОтветитьIt's half one in the morning for me, just found the perfect video
ОтветитьDude I was asleep in like 10 minutes and it’s not because this is boring. It was crazy
ОтветитьI used that video to fall asleep but it was too interesting and I end up watching it all, did not sleep, was late to work and got fired
ОтветитьI love the carribean machine gun revolution Poliwhirl
And the scheming rich Poliwraths 😂
Nice video
Ответитьi hate the thumbnail
ОтветитьTried to fall asleep and then ended up being so invested in that Russian Pokedex
ОтветитьHow can I sleep?
ОтветитьLoved the Russian pokedex. I think it better represents a "real world" where pokemon exists than the actual, very sterilized pokemon games
ОтветитьIt worked, I fell asleep
ОтветитьI don’t need to sleep, I need answers
ОтветитьWhy does this guys voice remind me of alpharad??
ОтветитьStay off my news feed
ОтветитьI think it’s funny how the male nidorans in the Russian Pokédex are basically incels.
ОтветитьDAY 291: I started to dream about pokemon towns more vibrantly than before, I'm slowly starting to turn into a snorlax myself and I really am concerned, but my experience shall continue, I shall sleep with this video for the rest of life and detail every moment
ОтветитьJust realised a few weeks ago. Played the entire 3 hours. I think I got 20mins before falling asleep
ОтветитьI think the Russian Pokedex Book is really fun
ОтветитьWho is narrating?
ОтветитьLOL no way over half of the video is just the russian pokedex. Mentioning its existence is a fun fact but actually going through the entire thing is like an entirely different thing.
ОтветитьIt’s odd Rhyhorn specialize in kidnapping only Asian princes, but I have to respect the dedication to their craft.
ОтветитьThis is the best thing to fall asleep to!
