Honestly, this really shows where Fallout 4 onwards failed. The whole point of the originals was to be anyone you wanted to be. Now you’re railroaded into being a goody-two shoes without any autonomy on how you play the game. Compare this to New Vegas. Aside from faction specific companions resenting you for killing their faction, you can murder just about as much as you want on the most part. Want to decimate New Vegas? Go for it. Want to erase Goodsprings from the map? More power to you. That freedom is sorely lacking

Looking back on it now, I never actually thought about murdering an innocent and seeing my companions reactions to it. This is entirely new to me, so glad I found out now.

Honestly I just have to say how much I love Deacon as a companion. I asked him his thoughts and he told me about the time he changed his face to look like a woman and now I can't stop imagining him as a cute femboy. Also tin can man from the brotherhood apparently hasn't talked to his west coast bros lately.

Few things that I like in FO4. The companions feels like a true companion who had principles and feelings, not just a mindless follower and shield for the player

Meh, same moralizing shit from all of them, even X6. The only original one was from Codsworth. It would be interesting to see what an AI-generated conversation would look like - AI takes the character into consideration, these just didn't.

I’ve hanged out with nick a lot and when i completed the institute storyline he scolded me so bad i wanted to start over lol

1 million reasons the dog is the best, more inv for dog, dog can search for 3 things, dog never complain or wants "to talk for a moment", dog attacks good with good dps and holds down targets for you to kill them.
