My cat only hisses at me when I approach it in the basement. It uses a hatch from the kitchen to get into the basement, while I use the outside stairs, so it probably suspects that I'm a stranger or imposter. Usually, if I hold my hand out and it recognizes the scent, it becomes more friendly, but never as friendly as it is upstairs.

When I approach my cat she jumps up for my neck and bites down hard. Does this mean she doesn't like me?

But some cats just have good character or bad. My uncles cats where grown up stray cats when he found them, they scratched and bite everyone. The cats whe raised from babies where good to everyone and just wanted to cuddle. As with us humans some people are just a*sses and some have a good heart ;)

Well great I’m just a few minutes into this and I’m watching it for my oldest cat he’s the one I think hates me sometimes not all the time and I have four cats and the other three love me all the time but he’s a Manx. No chance I can get a reading from his tail. He’s just easily annoyed

I have a cat that hisses at me occasionally,🤣🤣🤣But I raised that little bugger from a baby. He was the runt and his momma didn't have enough milk. So, his hissing to me is more of give me attention dammit. I usually pick him up, cradle him and whisper I love you in his ear. He licks my cheek and jumps down and struts away. I got my 10 yr old boy Nosi 2 mo ago. His human, my nephew died and nobody wanted Nosi, so I adopted him. My nephew found him as a stray and he was about 1 month old. For the 1st week, he would hide under my bed, I have his food, water and kitty box upstairs, he didn't eat for a day, but he did use his box. I love him dearly, he's not one to sit on my lap, can't hold him ( according to my sister he wouldn't allow my nephew to pick him up) he will play for maybe 4 min and then he's done. I can pet him at the base of his tail and around his face and chin ant that's it, and can only do that for a couple of min, before he wants to bite and scratch me. When he sees me, he gives me chirps and bangs against my legs and I can give him a good scratch. I see in his eyes when he wants to bite. He usually follows me around until his nap time. He has never hissed at me, talks alot, by chirping. I love this big boy, you learn their quirks and what sets them off and you respect them, you don't, you will get their claws and teeth of death..

My cat always greets me at the door, once he hears the door opening he will either.. Sit down, or just run towards me. Also, whenever i put my thumb near his mouth, he will sniff it then lick it, i dont know if thats a good or bad sign..

My cat is not aggressive he’s actually friendly, but I rescued him off the street and this cat used to knead on my shirt, lay on my chest, and purr like crazy. Ever since I’ve left my house to spend more time with my ex I feel like my cat doesn’t love me the same since I came back home. I was the one that saved his life yet he has no problem cuddling with my sister and father, but he gets out of my arms immediately when I pick him up. I think he doesn’t love or trust me anymore.

We have a few cats but there only 1 that doesnt love us. She tolerates us 😂 shes the runt of her siblings, about a year and half old and id guess 4lbs if that, shes by far one of my favorites and i wouldnt say she hates us just...dont touch her, dont look at her and dont acknowledge shes around lol her mom kept putting her in random places and we would always return her, never abused never stepped on her tail just... a year and a half of laying in our window and running across my keyboard while im working, dont tell her but sometimes when shes sleeping on my chair ill sneak a little pet 😊 i think shes just anti social, which fits us fine
