China does impose economic restructuring programs like the IMF. The IMF programs are just a way for the US to take control of these countries economies. The Chinese funded projects are usually of benefit to the Chinese economy, often involving access to raw materials. Unlike the US, UK and France, the Chinese are not neo-colonial. As you can see with the Ugandan air port, Mombasa port and railway Chinese interest rates are low and their default terms flexible and renegotiable. Unlike the Western Powers, China does not operate debit traps.

Why is it that every time a colored person or someone who is considered a part of a minority becomes famous for his “woke mind” surrounding politics and history of the second and third world countries, they eventually lose their initial vision and began to indulge themselves in western ideologies for views and money. The reason African countries cant pay back their loans is not because China set a trap for them, but because the people in government are sharing huge sum form the loan among themselves.

To me, I'd still side with China's policy over the west, china is not forcing anyone to take their loans, the African governments are taking the loan because of their selfish interest. Take my country Nigeria for example, the government takes the loan and the people in government embezzle the loan without spending or spend very less of it on any profitable project, thereby no way to pay back the loan.😊
