I've been so disenchanted with the danceability of New Order's material. But, what can I do?

I just adoooooooore Gillian. She means a lot to me because she was the first woman I learn about who actually played an instrument in a band. Of course, there were a few others back in the day and before such as Tina Weymouth (Talking Heads) and Maureen Tucker (Velvet Underground), but Gillian was the first one I knew and I was so impressed. I just love her. ❤

The host describes Arthur Baker as producing New Edition and "Candy Girl. The drummer says, we picked him because we liked what he did. lol

Their music was already so far removed from punk, but pretty much everything they say here clearly shows they were purely embodying the punk ethos

In 1983 New Order was known in America as "the Grateful Dead of the dance floor." A name I always thought was somewhat bizarre.
