Damn that forced seppuku though fr
ОтветитьSo it didn’t matter how much I improved with Ashikaga, they made me sudoku twice. They even sudoku’d my first ruler, then sent me a nice gift, then sudoku’d his replacement. I felt like I was going to have to pour more admin points into stability than coring
Ответитьthank you for the guide! It helped a lot, but i still kept on losing. I fought Korea but their army was about 40K and i ended up spiraling into debt. Right after a jurichen tribe declared war, ming exploded and Wu declared on me for okinawa. I ran out of manpower, and I ran out of money and my navy was super weak after the Korean war so i had to quit that run. Honestly its very infuriating and it is really annoying to start over. Oirat was super strong too and had a strong army along with everyone allying each other screwing me over.
ОтветитьI have a question it is normal that Japan has the China emperor can’t have the exams system tier 3 government ? I play has a Shinto Japan so maybe it’s something for Confucians ?
ОтветитьEU4<>Shogun 2 total war Oda being very powerful
ОтветитьWhat nation is better to play tall and develop a lot: Japan or Korea?
ОтветитьOne thing I never see but find is super useful is the Draft Warships estate decision. Free Heavy Ship off the bat? Naval domination which makes sieges that much easier. Also to secure the naval crossings. That one Heavy can take any two, maybe three nations in the early game for the Sengoku period.
ОтветитьI made a first attempt but was not satisfied with it, so I made a second start with Japan. The guide is great but i did some things different:
- Put your nation's focus on administration and buy an administration advisor. You will need a lot of administration points (for provinces and stability later after the war against Ashikaga).
- Do not buy the free company right at the beginning. You don't need it at the beginning. Just increase your army to 5 regiments. This way you save a lot of money and can still win wars easily. Opt for the free company when you run out of recruits. Lower the autonomy of your provinces so that you can have a troop limit of ~10 after conquering some provinces. That saves you a lot of money.
These seem like small changes, but they have an BIG effect. I unified Japan in 1470 and only took "indebted to merchant guilds" twice. I did not take any other loans. By 1470 I had 600 money. I was 3/5/5 on tech and had 770 diplo and 1000 mil points left (so i could spawn renaissance easy with developing a province)
Can we have an England to angavin empire guide
ОтветитьShimazu please
Ответитьyou need a good guide yourself during you doing so stupid advices like burning Tripitaka
ОтветитьEven tough samurai infantary is OP, dont use samurai specials units. They cost the double of manpower when they die.
p.e. If one lose 5k in a batle, the manpower decreases by 10k. Its pretty huge and you can run out manpower pretty quickly.
Btw guides for Ainu and Ryukyu that you mentioned in the beginning would also be nice
ОтветитьChallenge. As Trebizond you must abaddon your land, colonized japan early enough, and conquer the rest of Japan, China and the surrounding area of eastern Asia. Can you do this?
ОтветитьNew challenge idea, as any nation you want, conquer all the states in which the capitals of all other nations in the game are (example, Thrace for Constantinople/Istanbul or ile-de France for Paris).
ОтветитьCan we get a Korea guide next? You have the best guides thank you!
Ответитьpls do an england guide
ОтветитьCan you still vassal swarm as Japan
ОтветитьNaaaah… No priviledges except for mana for fast 30 crownland and DO NOT improve with ashikaga, as it decreases your liberty desire => seppuku. I mean come on, that’s basic stuff
ОтветитьI tried playing Oda, i get warring so much that conquerinbg that ashikaga deced on me while i was still their daimyo.... taking like 3 + stab hits... btw they deced on me with the rest of the daimyo xD
ОтветитьWhy not seize lands before granting nobility increased levies?
ОтветитьFinally🎉
ОтветитьAight some extra tips here:
1: If you want to slow it down a bit, For your first rivals, pick some guys that aren't right next to you or you aren't planning to immediately attack. That way, you can Show Strength on them to get the extra 300 Monarch points while still fighting your neighbors to take territory.
2: The Economy, it sucks. The hardest thing about the early game is gonna be not ending up bankrupt. This is a big downside to the Show Strength strat, as you can't take money from those peace deals since Show Strength is always 100%, but you CAN dev Owari since it has a valuable trade good and is Farmlands. This will make your new loans much larger than the old ones, but you do have to be careful as the game will sometimes miscalculate when you will go bankrupt and cause you to go bankrupt early. Just make sure you wait until the Renaissance spawns before you do it.
3: Korea is your first boss of this run, as they are with any Eastern Asian nation that isn't insanely more powerful that them really. You NEED to be careful when attacking them. Make sure you are even Mil-tech or above if possible but this will be difficult as they get good rulers and they spawn institutions on their own. Check their ideas before you go to war with them. If they start with Defensive, you may as well restart if you aren't too deep into the game. But they generally start Offensive/Espionage from my experience, which makes siege racing them neigh impossible. Also, you can't let them breath either, or you'll find yourself fighting a death war over 2 provinces and annexing them will end up taking like 8 wars (not an exaggeration). They will, at least, generally not attack you first even if you take land from them and even if they are stronger than you.
4: If you are an achievement hunter, keep in mind that it might not be possible to do the Sakkoku Japan achievement and the Khristian Japan/Stardust Crusaders achievements in the same run as the requirements for Open/Isolationist are pretty steep.
5: You can become Emperor of China and it is quite beneficial to do so simply from the amount of admin points you'll save using the Unify China CB, just make sure to keep your Mandate above 50, and to make sure you accept 2 Chinese cultures so you don't get the Emperor in Name Only disaster.
Please stop saying that paying off high interest loans early saves you money. It's just not true. You pay the full remaining interest whenever you pay off a loan early.
ОтветитьI would love a Ming guide. I feel like they are in their weakest state ever and I really can't get them going. Great content as always!
ОтветитьI've tried forming Japan as Otomo but get wiped at the start every single time. I love their ideas for a Kirishitan Japan run but its such an annoying start
Ответитьi started as Ashikaga and i colonized all available pacific islands, Australia, most of north america and northern part of mexico, also all of Siberia, imagine what kid of world it would be today with Shinto as the main culture in north america 😂
ОтветитьThe problem with colonial Japan or any other non european colonoal nations is that if you mange to rush for south east asia and Amercia you won't be able to steer trade from all of the nodes form your colonial subjects to your home node. There is a trade node in the pacific ocean(polynesian triangle) which is really important if you going colonial as Japan because it conects the new world to asia, but still you can't benefit form everything in new world and some trade nodes in new world don't go to asia. But Castile, Portugal, England and France can easily steer everything to their home node. The only non european nation that I find intersting for a colonial game was Morroco which of course I formed Andlusia which still is european from a geographical point of view.
ОтветитьI remember when the emperor Sudoku'd me. I could never look at the numbers 1 thru 10 again 😂
ОтветитьI like to race for California and Mexico vs the Spanish. Leads to a tense 1500s, but alot of fun.
ОтветитьLmao my man Red Hawk really said Sudoku'd instead of Seppuku'd LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Great vid though!
ОтветитьThe "restore our color" decision is there to restore the tag of Japan to its default color, which is that paler red color. This is only possible to take since you formed Japan as Oda, one of 15 daimyo that automatically carry across their color to Japan when forming it (other daimyo that do this include: Tokugawa, Shimazu, Takeda, So, etc.). This is all to say, the Japan you formed already had Oda map color, but you reverted it to its default pale red (a downright criminal offense).
ОтветитьI think there is a bug with samurai that not only the costs more ducats to reinforce, they also costs more manpower. I don't know if they are already fixed yet.
ОтветитьMake a guide for Wallahia or Moldavia!
ОтветитьForm japan as SO
ОтветитьOda just might have the best idea set in the game.
ОтветитьOda just might have the best idea set in the game.
ОтветитьShimazu my beloved.
ОтветитьShinto or Confucian.
Pros and cons to each?
Also what type of isolation do people prefer?
I just did a Oda > Japan > Celestial Empire Japan. Was trying to to Supreme Shogunate but it wouldn't, all I got was House of the Rising Sun. Anyways, Oda armies just rolfstomped anything in the way. Even a 50-dev-per-province super Korea
Ответитьi played oda pre-1.35 but they were till broken. i went colonial but still conquered all of east asia and the indies, my military ideas were so good i was able to dominate any war i was in
ОтветитьI love giving only mana privileges to estate before the first couple wars to keep influence low. You get up to over 30% crownland really quick
ОтветитьA japan guide with zero show strengths?
Ответитьi prefer hussite glogow and exodus to new world playstyle babyyyyyyyyy
ОтветитьDo stardust crusaders achievement if you havent already please
