Great test but I wouldn't use Apples own FPS monitor, some gamers say its fake.

A17 is good but it's a disappointment if we compare to the last A16.

I'm pretty sure the small changes in average FPS is due to the game design called "hit-lag" that halves your FPS briefly to make the attacks feel more impactful. But it also could be something else that I missed.

Why is it that the iPhone gets completely destroyed by the Galaxy Ultra in other performance comparison videos? Like I just saw one the other day where iPhone and Galaxy are both running Asphalt racing, and iPhone just lagged, then it dimmed the screen, then it completely crashed. And the Galaxy just kept a steady pace the whole way. I don't know what to believe anymore with these contradicting videos.

For anyone asking about how to turn on the HUD. I have a theory, edit the info.plist of the app you want to enable it and set "MetalHUDEnabled" to true. I haven't tried this yet, but that is most likely how to turn it on without having to be a developer or testflight

No matter which phone, it always heats up my damn phones after playing a while at max graphics. This is why I have no choice but to stick to gaming phones like ROG Ultimate which also has the longest battery so that the heating doesn't screw up my phone.

LMAO you litterally tested an Apple sponsored title. IOS has 120fps toggles when Android and PC does not. Hoyo develops for Iphone first so yes the game is optimized for the A17 pro. The S23 is also getting close to a year old at 8 months old while the 15 just released. The fact the 15 barely beats the S23 should tell everyone all they need to know about that scam of a device.

Wow I am surprised to see that the iPhone 15 Pro Max was more stable and sustained almost 60fps the whole time while the S23U was slowly dropping down and throttling. I kinda expected the opposite considering how much people rave about the S23U.

I have a 15 Pro Max and I play Diablo Immortal often for 30-60mins+. I am amazed at how cool the phone stays when I play. I can max the settings out and it runs smooth with the phone only getting warm but I prefer to set the resolution to high, image sharperning on and the effects set to the low or medium preset. This looks almost exactly the same as the higher presets but when I play on that setting the battery drains really slowly and the phone barely warms up at all. That's my preferred way to play and I'm blown away at how effortless it seems for the phone to run the game on those settings.

There is no point in adding the 120 option because both devices are unable to run the game with 60 fixed frames at all !
