When something is just beyond craftsmanship. It's art, fine art. Great job man!
ОтветитьI want to make one for my Viking ax. Do I need to do all that or can I skip a few steps?
ОтветитьThanks so much for not blathering on for 25 minutes sharing meaningless crap about how "your uncle really loved to use a mahogany stain but you feel that the butter pecan gold dye really speaks to you" I appreciate you showing the task only. Subscribed and liked
Ответить👍
ОтветитьVery nice. thank you..
ОтветитьGetting started in some leatherwork...I have watched this video several times. It's been a great help. BTW, What contact adhesive do you use?
ОтветитьWow well don
ОтветитьGreat video, my only gripe would be to have one end of the strap permanently attached to axe mask otherwise your gonna lose that strap at some point
ОтветитьYour glue dries really fast
Ответить+👍
ОтветитьBeautiful. What type of leather did you use?
ОтветитьGreat job on the sheath! Thank you.
Ответитьприятно смотреть когда человек понимает что он делает, а не творит какую-то фигню на манер а сделаю вот так и посмотрю чё получится, авось прокатит
Ответитьthanks for sharing this skill. it was my first leatherworking attempt. doesn't look as professional as yours but you have inspired me to try more. much appreciated.
ОтветитьОчень нравится смотреть за работой настоящего мастера , вещь получилась достойной и долго будет радовать глаза будущего хозяина!!!👍👍👍💯%
ОтветитьWow you are a pro 👌
ОтветитьL👍
ОтветитьYou make the stitch grooving look so easy. I’m awful at it- somehow my groove always comes out uneven, too far in or out. It’s very frustrating.
Great video- it’s been a big help to me.
I'm new at leather. So far one wet molded filleting knife sheath as well as two axe sheathes. Loving the craft! This looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьWhat a cack-handed way to hold a pencil. OMG...
ОтветитьI recently made a wallet at a craft place using similar techniques and the tools they provided made it so hard to make sure everything was even. Everything you did was beautiful and looks so much easier (though I know it takes skill and practice to have a product that looks this amazing!) Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьI made a wallet at a craft place the other day and it turned out awful. You make this look so easy and I am going to give it a go! One question... What weight of Leather did you use? I couldn't find that info anywhere.
ОтветитьBrilliant video mate.... 👍🏼🇬🇧
Ответитьvery nice, thanks for sharing
ОтветитьI made a viking ax and two broke back seax knives and the sheaths are old brown vynel from a old hot tub cover. They are all loose but I am going to find a way to make them more snug fitting and a snap fit strap for the ax. Thanks for the video
Ответитьwhat kind of leather do you use? Im looking for scrap leather I can use but they all look thin in the pictures
ОтветитьNice job m8 ,my axe head is n just like yours and ive found the right way of making a sheath now thanks to you ,cheers for the idea, Greetings from Wales UK ,wherever you are .
ОтветитьVery helpful, thank you and blessedly without too much talk :)
ОтветитьPerfect..
ОтветитьYo siempre coso con dos agujas cruzadas, queda mucho más fuerte.
Pero te ha quedado muy bonita 👍
Very nice job..i like it..
ОтветитьCaptions explaining what you’re doing would be helpful. This is very cool but idk what chemicals and compounds you’re using, idk your measurements, or any details really. I wish you had an editor who could edit in those specific details into the video. I’m new to leatherwork so I was looking for more information.🤷♂️
ОтветитьAlso, I know you probably made it but BOOOO on the metal handle. That stinks. Get you a nice American Hickory blank and make a handle, dude. I hear Ash is nice too if you can find a nice burled blank. That would look cool with a Damascus piece on the end.👍Great work tho. I just wish you captioned it with more direction.
ОтветитьT weren’t nothing easy about all that.
ОтветитьVery cool - thanks for posting.
ОтветитьHow thick should the leather be?
ОтветитьI realize this is an old video. But for gods sake man sharpen your knife!
ОтветитьVery nice
ОтветитьIm interested in how you handle.
Bravo Zulu
ОтветитьI may be dumb but how do you get two rivets to form a snap?
ОтветитьThis was INCREDIBLY helpful for making a sheath for my Collins double bit....thank you an keep up the great work
ОтветитьThank you for this helpful video. Now I have to look for suitable leather... 😊
ОтветитьBravo ....
ОтветитьParabéns meu amigo abração 🎉😅
