This has always been my go to cookie I just like to reduce the sugar and brown the butter

Mine spread out way too much. Next time I think I need to chill them longer than 30 minutes like the recipe suggests. 😔

For me it’s cakier and not chewy and we followed the recipe exact and made sure not to overmix but it was still cakey, is there a certain way to make it chewy

half measurements :

1/4 cup sugar
3/8 cup brown sugar
im putting no salt
1/4 cup butter (im gonna melt it with hairdryer)
1/2 egg
1 tsp vanilla essence
5/8 cup flour

I’m so glad I decided to used half amount of sugar. Otherwise, I’d have sugar crash right after. This recipe called for instant diabetes.

I made this and try the tips from here. Yes i use only 1/4 cup of white sugar and thai brown sugar (darkest i can find). Seriously, it taste amazing and addictive. ❤

How to make it a bit more dry??? And do u really need to refrigerate over night??

How can I make the cookies come out dark without making it dry out? I just want the same taste, soft and chewy inside but the color darjer than usual

tips : make sure the melted butter isnt too hot, it can make the mixture greasy
browning it makes a delicious difference

I forgot to put them in the fridge to chill. And I made them too big for the oven per chocolate ball. Now they are all almost merged together, flat, and very doughy xD
