*you will not get image if your CPU doesn't have integrated graphics, don't think you did everything right if your PC shows image. So if you know that your CPU has integrated graphics double the attention on not plugging the hdmi on the motherboard

My tower only has one possible place for the hdmi cord to go, all the others are usb or the little colored circles. My moniter worked just fine but I unplugged and re plugged everything exactly where it was originally and It still won't work. My tower will come on, but my moniter won't connect to it
