I have a question for you: I'm writing my first Fantasy novel. It's based on a Lucid Dream I had. I want the story to be something that both adults and mid-grade children can read and even bond over. Now, I know that this is a tall order as publishers prefer a book that's either for adults or for children. But the narrator is an old man and the magical being is a little girl. There are also other child characters. Do you have any advice as to how I can do this without immediately turning off would-be publishers? Thanks in advance!

2. Write a conversation that is 100% lies on both sides.
3. Give your characters a guilty conscience about something.
4. Add a foreshadowing mini-scene that reflects your climax.

6. End a chapter with a cliffhanger, but don't answer it quickly.
