This recipe was the worst to work with. It did not use 4 ramekins it used way more!! Also the caramel wasnt enough for the amount of sponge and custard. The sponge mix wasnt enough for the custard. What a waste.

Sigh mine didn’t set after 40 mins and overnight in the fridge. when there is cake ontop how are you suppose to know if it has set before you pull it

Hi Marion, Flan is one of my favorite desserts. Your flan looks so delicious! It makes me want to eat flan right now. Vietnamese people often eat Flan cake with a little coffee poured on top of the cake! 😄😊❤❤❤ Forgive me because I'm not very good at English.

Such a brilliant idea in this recipes because the caramel sauce usually get thrown away. That sponge will absorb it and becomes another delicious dessert. 2 in 1 and nothing goes to waste. Love vietnamese recipes.
