The amazing thing about this remake for me is that, and I’ll quote somecallmejohnny on this, it doesn’t replace the original. It merely compliments it and does something different while retaining the feel of RE4. The knife fight with Krauser is honestly done so well.

I like how they get caught in the bear traps now.

Currently playing and I cannot get past the part where I'm playing as Ashley to rescue Leon in chapter 9. She can't grab herbs, etc. One hit and she's gone. Someone help me... 😂😂😂 but I'm definitely in love with this game. I still have the original for ps2

So i have never played a resident Evil game and I've just started RE2 Remake and currently half way through it and Absolutely loving it, I love the slow paced, Dark and terrifying atmosphere, This game scares the shit out of me. Watching RE4, I dont know, Something feels... Off. Seems like its solely more focused on Action rather than survival horror. From someone who love's Survival horror is this game still worth a Play?

As a long-time Resident Evil fan, (The 'Resident Evil Director's Cut' gave me nightmares as a kid growing up) I can say that, "Yes. Resident Evil has now been brought back to the 'SURVIVAL HORROR' way, thank's to the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake!" Congratulations, CAPCOM! You made a masterpiece here! (Resident Evil 3 Nemesis just seemed like 'a shadow of it's former self'... Pardon the RE:DC reference, if you understand what I mean)

The corrections they made about ashley in this one are so amazing. ashley was the most dumb and irritating character in this on ashley is not that much dependable. This is the best thing 😻😊
