TRUTH ABOUT FINGER AND HAND TATTOOS!

The truth: 1.) They are on your hand. Do you want kids? If not, go get surgically modified to not have kids, and by the way, have your legs removed because it's easier to explain you are handicap physically rather than mentally. 2.) Be self employed, and make really good money, not production plant money. 3.) Get educated. Art is symbolic. Don't let your immaturity prevail, only to explain it later as a life as a lesson learned, and you have grown. People who are smart are like farmers, there's no need to plant anything unless it's profit. 4.) Get Henna if you are a wimp.

I hear what you're saying. Luckily I'm 60 and just getting started on my tattoo journey. I'm a few short years from "retirement" age. I WANT to be discriminated against, tattoo-wise, because I've spent all the time I intend to working for uncool people. I will no longer work for jerks. Anyone small-minded enough to discriminate against people for how they choose to appear...can suck it.

I work at Lowes and have my hand blasted along with my left and right arm these days it’s a lot different and more acceptable all over but it is still rejected in alot of places especially private own businesses

So, the insecure man will go out and get tattoos to make himself more unique and make himself seem mysterious. Now the insecure man has a reason for a woman to talk to him because she wants to ask him about his stupid tattoos. ( It's just a picture drawn up with ink into an image that really means nothing so don't look too far into it. ) Plus now when the man with lots of tattoos gets naked he really doesn't look naked anymore. Of course you can't have stupid insecure men without insecure woman. The man with lots of tattoos, to mask his original insecurity, can now get the hot girls to have sex with him because hot girls are just as insecure with themselves as the insecure man.......go figure.

I got my right hand tattooed and ppl judge real quick until I explain what it is. I’m a calligraphy artist so I got a lot of script, lettering and calligraphy tattooed on my body but my right hand is special it’s my logo. When I’m writing and ppl watch me or I make video you can always see my logo. It’s the red B, I worked hard to get to that level of writing so I wear my logo with pride.

I’m 70 workwd as a nuclear welder and structural steel all my life with full sleeves. Now I’m going to get a skull on the back of my left hand. at my age I ain’t looking for a white collar job

I have my hands and my neck blasted out and I’ve never had a problem getting a decent job. I also know how to carry myself and I dress conservative when need be. I work in the medical field, and everybody I work with has visible tattoos. If you know how to dress and you dress well, people tend to look over the visible tattoos.

Bro you can’t blame a tattooist for a finger or hand tattoo fading….. hands and fingers and notoriously known for fading out….you also work in construction which means your hands are always mobile… plus hands and fingers need touching up a lot it all depends on the person.. some skin types hold ink way better then others…… a 3rd time pass on your hands will prob make the ink hold better then the first couple of times especially the first time. So it’s not really the tattooist fault….. a forearm tattoo will hold way better then a hand tattoo…

I love tattoos I have 2 finger tatts and getting 3 more tomorrow and have hand tattoos on both hands and I plane on adding on to the one on my left hand. I know people look at me weird cause I'm a minster in my church and I have tattoos and piecing's. So I understand the strange looks people give you I get them all the time.

I'm an RN with hand, neck/throat, and finger tattoos (: it serves as an ice breaker w/ patients at times, I've never been admonished for them by management, etc. Just don't get offensive tattoos & stay professional otherwise, you'll be fine.

Hands tattoos for jobs are nothing . Try it with a full neck sleeve and a couple of face tats. Luckily I work for myself .

I'm an old girl, 50 something, i got my first three tattos this year, i love all of them, two on my wrists, one somewhere else. My tatto artist said the same that it would hurt like fuck on my hand and that it would fade after few years, so i took her advice and didn't get my hand inked. My tattos were painless, slight scratchy feeling, and tiny bit stingy . My son got his first tattoo at 16, i wasn't happy but couldn't be mad cos it said mum. Got some work done on my fingers 2 weeks ago.. I'm 6'5 and 190Lbs, meaning I'm pretty tall and pretty slim.. lol my fingers are super long and super skinny, and yes that sht hurt like hell!! It's basically going straight to the bone. So yeah its pretty spicy. Lol at the same time the pain is tolerable. For me I thought the closer to my fingernail she got is where it hurt the most. That's just my experience. Everyone's different

My artist told me before we started to keep in mind with finger tattoos there's not much skin there for the ink to take or sit well so that's why some finger tattoos dont take well and will (or can) fade quickly.. which makes since..lol Also, the worst part is healing. Mine didn't really scab much but it sucks when you bump something and your worried you're gonna pull the scab off along with some ink.. Anyways.. lol sorry for rambling. Haha. I went out west to British Columbia and hand/finger tattoos and just tattoos in general are very common. More people tatted out there than an place I've ever been. They're very liberal.

My dad is in a motorcycle club with tattoos on his face, hands, and neck but the wealthy people we do custom carpentry for love him and always have nothing but nice things to say. It’s not about the ink, it’s about how you act with that ink on you (don’t give people a reason to judge/label/stereotype you and you’re good).

Wen getting a hand tattoo it's best to just do one at a time that way can still use your other hand in the meantime.

I just got my hand and few fingers done yesterday. The artist used a new black ink and he used orange and red on the hand as well. I trust his work, because even arm tattoos can fade if not done properly. But I'll wait until it's fully healed to see if it will be like the other tattoos I have.. He tattooed the hand with black ink first, stopped for a few minutes to let it settle, then went over it again. Same thing for the orange and red ink. Got my elbow done yesterday as well.

So is it true that tatts on fingers fade away soon?
