I don't get why people say AoE was better / more well known. While they were the originals, this is way better in my opinion. I never played them and never felt the urge to because Age of Mythology is just outright superior.

Age of mythology was my first pc game when i was 9 years old. I have never tough one day to see this game remastered. The RTS genre has become so niche that compagnies dont have interest of investing money in them. Another game that would deserve that treatment is Rise Of Nation.

I vividly recall the awe I felt as a child of 8 when I first saw the original age of mythology being played by my older brother on his computer. Thus began a lifetime of love for history and strategy games.
