Image scaling, DLSS is a massive cope. Its just an excuse to continue releasing shitty coded games running on equally shitty unimpressive overpriced hardware.

I think the selling point with DLSS 3.0 is how it improve the image quality beyond native resolution. I have few games like Once Human and Cyberpunk where I can run the game on native with the same settings, but enabling DLSS resulting in better antialiasing and cleaner image.

Frame generator is the same technology like at 20 years ago in philips tv 100hz up to 1600hz, 😂, so this technology no make sense for interactive medium like computer games but only if you watch or listen something from some Player. Sorry but Frame Generation is a wrong move and they really should drop it. DLSS is great, but frame generation is just stupid.

Dummy question here: I have an RTX 3080 Ti graphics card, so why is GeForce constantly recommending I download drivers to use DLSS 3 for new games like Dead Space? The GeForce app knows which graphics card I have, so why should I download DLSS 3 drivers if I can't use them?

Dlss looks absolutely horrible and creates alot of smearing like TAA does. Atleast 2.0 on my 3070TI. Why is no one talking about that?

I"m curious when LTT is going to do a story or talk on the wan show about the fact that CDPR and NVIDA still haven't provided these features to the customer. CP2077 still has not DLSS 3 support despite CDPR having time to add it to the Witcher 3. Seems like LTT and many other companies where used by NVIDA by being given a press kit that made it appear to them and their viewers that this was something we would have soon. This is exactly the same thing as SOTTR when RTX came out where that game took 6 months to have ray tracing despite being showcased during the 2080 launch and used by everyone to showcase ray tracing.

Still waiting for the day they start making video cards plug into 2 pcie slots. You know it's coming.

When the 40 series relies so much on DLSS.. I don't find sense in $1000 (or more) that's depending on software to support it.

Prime example.. Fortnite with its upgrade to UE 5.1 disabled dlss for stability testing. And suddenly my 3080 almost performs the same as a 4080.

DLSS is pretty nice. Picked up a 4090 today. Damn it's nice. The price hurts, but if you're a videophile and you can afford it, the performance will not disappoint.

Dlss3 should be avaliable for 2000 and 3000 series since both off them have the hardware. At this point is just a shitty gimmick to sell 4000 series for abusive prices than a cool technology. Can't wait until amd kills nvidia with fsr3

I have a conspiracy theory: Nvidia has already developed DLSS to the point where you don't need top tier GPUs anymore in order to achieve ultra-graphics and high FPS in gaming. But because this could kill their products and sales, they don't reveal it and only release it to their top tier GPUs.

DLSS is fun for ultra games. For competitive online DLSS is like driving a car who's engine is on fire

I love my $1600 gpu and how crazy low input latency is with it and oled monitors in combination. Can’t wait all of that advantage to be ruined with 100ms+ input lag.

Generally you only need higher fps above 60 for low latency. DLSS 3.0 only adds latency, so in many cases this framerate increase is worse than useless.
In cases where for some reason the GPU chokes on the frames, and framerate would fall below 30, then DLSS 3.0 would save the day, but it will be only enabled on monster GPUs, so I do not expect any games which would struggle.

Linus, have you testetd this garbage? In Hardware Unboxed's tests it introduces severe artifacting and shits on latency as well... please test it before drinking the NVidia kool-aid...!

No it's not, with increased latency, you sense the feel of less smooth image. So you can have 60 fps but your experience is like with 40fps.
