I subscribed to skillshare years ago and was disappointed in the courses. I thought it was just me.

Greed seems to have no limits to who it takes over and corrupts.
The more people have the more they want, and the less they seem to care about how they get it.

Never give a credit card number for a ''Free trial'' , asking for a card is a BIG RED FLAG to begin with

a few years ago the content in skillshare was actually good. Right now it's not worth imo.

I've been using the internet for more than 20 years and I have not , am not and will not pay for ANYTHING on it. I'm not watching any adds either . If it's online and I need it, I will find a way to get it/use it for free.

Even after years i dont get why anyone would want a video instead of a paper (or digital text) as a tutorial - video is slow, cumbersome, you can not jump to specific questions easily.

People who think Skillshare will properly teach them how to program by merely paying them money are delusional. It takes years of studying, practice, and dedication to really get the hang of it. It's way harder than learning how to play the piano

If you see an ad for it, it’s a scam, anything from some shampoo, to online education to nft / crypto to a vpn.... all scams.

?? Did I miss something? Does the internet hate Paypal for some reason? I never had any problems with it and their buyer protection saved my ass once from an ebay scammer.

So practically any sponsor on yt is scummy and should be avoided.
