I remember always being pissed off at these types of visual effects. I didn't need some TV producer to provide with a faux psychedelic experience. I wanted to see the band! Fortunately this seems like it fell out of favor.

It's hard to realize that they're all dead now except Chris Copping.

I had the opportunity to see PH Aug 1971 at an all day outdoor festival with 11 other bands for the outrageous cost of 5 dollars! Part of the lineup included Alice Cooper, Chuck Barry, Brownsville Station, and Ted Nugent's Amboy Dukes! I was toasted and still able to drive back to Pittsburgh PA. Great day😵‍💫

Travesty since BJ is the best. Procol generally ignored despite obvious superiority in most ways.

One can only imagine what Zeppelin would've sounded with BJ Wilson instead of Bonzo. Thank God we got to hear both Zep & Procol Harum.

At least the t.v. director let us some seconds to see the great Barrie Wilson clearly.

Now, THAT guy had an original style.

Guitar-master Leo Kottke covered this song on his lp "Chewing Pine," and did a marvelous job.

It's 2022 and I'm just finding out great drummer B.J.Wilson had passed away in1990.He was only 43.Very sad.His death preceded Mitch mitchel. Cozy powell.Ginger baker. Neal peart.charlie watts.

Procol Harum is a song for the ages but that doesn't mean they didn't have other great moments.....like this beauty. RIP.

MY FIRST LIVE SHOW WAS PROCOL HARUM AT THE FILLMORE EAST 1968.THEY WERE GREAT.

I always looked for someone on the side playing the cow bell. It was all B.J. Wilson. A true force of a drummer.

Yet another great Procol Harum song. That's a pretty intricate cowbell part by B J Wilson. I like the backing vocals on this one.

Can anybody identify the players? Gary Brooker is on lead vocals and piano, and my guesses for the others are Chris Copping on bass and B.J. Wilson on drums. I have no idea who the lead guitarist is. The guy on rhythm hereover
