Hello, and thanks for all this info. . . I wonder if you can tell me why Ableton keeps warping my tracks? I have turned off warp in the preferences, and in the individual track configuration; but each time I record a new track (I'm just recording with a mic and a guitar through a Focusrite USB interface), the "warp" button is lit up yellow, and my tracks are out of sync.

I can't get help from the forums because my license type (I'm using Ableton First and trying to learn the basics), doesn't allow access. I could really use a hand.

Thanks in advance!

Lil Miss Beats, I appreciate your thankfulness for internet, be it crappy or not.

Warping seem to be turned on automatically for anything recorded. The settings don't change that either. Does that mean it's warping recorded audio automatically? Or does that mean it just sets the markers based on the transients automatically and leaves the warping untouched? I'm not referring to audio clips and samples that are drag and dropped, just new recordings. For what its worth, I don't hear any warping on recordings when I switch it on and off, but there might be an occasional artifact I'm missing. Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure to mute out the sub frequencies in your audio. Just low cut your audio recording before you upload. Nice video <3 :)

HELP! I want my setlist to play automatically in sessionview by starting the first song with a midi trigger, and letting the other songs follow. BUT I can't find how I let the bmp change automatically as well. It sticks to the BPM from the first song. Now I have to trigger every song by hand, although the songs are written without a pause. Does anyone know a solution? (I am already busy with writing everything down in arrangementview, where I know how to change the bpm automatically.)

Not a hate comment, but definitely wished you covered the 9.2.1 tempo master / slave section because that what I came here for.

You need to make your mouse a bit larger. Difficult to follow on a small screen.

I've subbed, as a guitarist, getting into Ableton has been a major pain!!. I was strictly an analogue man until recently, and being near computers or anything digital makes me come out in a rash, these tutorials and you going through the manual has been a great help, thank you very much Maike.
