Garnt and Joey more psychotic than Connor regarding the distance thing. That's as crazy to me as someone who holds open the door to a store for you when you're 25 meters away. That's 40 steps. That's like 3 buildings away. Or not only are you still in the parking lot you're 5 parking spaces from the crosswalk. At that distance if someone wants to talk to me, they have to prove they are talking to me either say my name or at least descriptive "hey tall asian guy!"
ОтветитьAnyone know where I can cop Garnts top??
ОтветитьI'm an extrovert and i agree with Conner. Some days i might glance back out of curiosity but usually I'd keep walking assuming it wasnt for me. Im very soft spoken and im not gonna shout for a casual conversation. Also stranger cat calling, scammer danger if youre in a big US city.
I feel like the ones giving you a hard time are either more comfortable shouting/ projecting or don't have a good idea juuuust how far that is lol. Also arent as used to dangerous cities.
Like, someone from that far away asking for a casual conversation is a little too entitlted to your attention.
And agaaaaain, as a woman im not gonna walk towards a guy shouting hello at me. Like, if theyre after a casual conversation with me, and they're so entitled to try and start it from that far away and get mad about it... The chances for danger start getting exponential.
Wether id turn depends on the day and the vibes.
Yes, if someone is too far from you, you have the right not to take him up on a conversation, but the problem with Connor is he just assumes it is small talk and simply doesn't bother to turn around and find out first, that is PSYCOTIC! What if you dropped something, stepped on shit, or someone needed help because their dad fell from a ladder? Not turning around because you think you're going to be "locked in" is Bocchi levels of anti-social behavior.
ОтветитьGetting invested through gamifing is very much a ADHD thing
ОтветитьSSS tier episode
ОтветитьAs a teen, being a kid is boring now, there a lot of reasons and factors but especially in america everything is corporate looking for small children (bascially a bunch of day cares) or only available for 21+ and even those suck
ОтветитьIt seems the politicians in my country watch trash taste.
ОтветитьMy dad always took my little sister and I to playgrounds as a kid. There are still like 5 playgrounds/parks near within a 10 minute walk from my place. My dad took us because it´d be a meeting place for my sister and I since we have different moms.
When the guys started talking about what kids do now.. like what a 10 year old kid does to have fun I also totally blanked. I have no clue. I used to ask my sister since she´s 4 years younger than me but she´s 18 now so... The closest idea I could get to what kids does now is by asking my friend who has a kid, but that kid only just turned 2 so...
Just insane to realize how out of touch I am with what kids do now to have fun
i have bashed my phone against the wall and have been walking out of house for like 2 weeks now
ОтветитьNo Connors right! Stop bullying him!
ОтветитьI'm with Conor. Get an earthquake/general disaster kit together, and get on with your life. If you waste all that energy worrying about an earthquake, how are you going to have the energy to worry about how far someone is from you before it's okay to talk to them?
ОтветитьIMO people just say stuff is cringe when they're bitter and hateful.
ОтветитьIn a few years, when you guys are done, you need to actually do that as a final episode. You should have a "real" finale, like a big celebration, but then your actual final episode is just you three staring at a camera for 2 hours. Channel your inner Haruhi
ОтветитьFedora's are NEVER acceptable unless you're NeYo leave that thing at home
ОтветитьI cant watch this anymore, the start of the episode with bussiness class flights and 20%tips, thats way too unrelatable
It was a nice podcast when it started, cool things about Japan and daily struggles and stuff, but this is just rich ppl complaining about nothing
Yeah Connor's right stop bullying him. I'm shocked that conversation topic went on so long 😂 I also wouldn't reply
ОтветитьThem talking about the teen period and how you think stuff is cool actually ends up looking cringe in retrospective is literally the entire idea of chuunibyou
Ответитьanyone know the app for gameifying the pokemon collecting
ОтветитьI am definately on Connors side.
ОтветитьIt’s never fine to wear a fedora
ОтветитьLet's be real, he just didn't wanna deal with that bullshit. Range or no range. If I heard a cute, "Heeeeeyyyyy.." I'd turn around asap.
ОтветитьI will NEVER get into mandatory tipping. The logic of "they have to clean up after us" is so flawed. For one, they wouldn't have to do much. I treat any table I eat on as if it's in my house and I have to clean it. And, it's their literal job to keep tables clean for the next customer. If you as a server feel that your employer isn't paying you enough, quit. I'd rather live in a country where restaurants and going out to eat isn't a thing than partaking in this dumb "custom."
Ответитьi can't decorate for shit
Ответитьnah connor i agree i would not have turned around either lol
ОтветитьI would definitely turn around with that distance between us in a residential area and especially after a second louder "hello". It's a small amount of effort in exchange for a potentially important reason to get my attention. They were elderly so it's not easy for them to walk to you and so shouting is a better option for them. It's a different story if I was not in the mood to interact with strangers but Connor said that is not the case for him
ОтветитьThe whole Connor debate this episode made me just think: "...and the award for the clown of the year goes to..." ^_^'
ОтветитьMy radius of conversation is the person needs to be close enough to talk to without yelling or struggling to hear them. I probably would have kept walking.
Ответитьnaw Conner's right, all of ur are insane. That man saying hello was most definitely a Karen. They got the entitlement to expect (got mad) to get an answer from so far away; especially if Conner wasn't looking his way.
Ответитьim with connor on the range of talking, im betting you're thinking they're prob talking to someone else at that point and you're probably ignoring them, unless they call out your name
Ответитьwell i always suspected the welsh man is a bit of a psychopath
ОтветитьHonestly don’t get the connection to America to justify the title. Should’ve been something about reminiscing on the past or looking back at recent history. I know it’s for the clicks and that I’m going to watch regardless but a title like that probably would’ve been more appealing to me than the usual America roast as that seems to be every other week anyway.
ОтветитьWent to the Dreaded Ohio, Got a STACK of 60's and 70's Playboys at an Antique shop. What awesome journalism. A piece about the Population issue of the world back then when it was 3.5 bil. Nuts
ОтветитьCONNOR IS 100% correct and J/G are insane
ОтветитьTbh I stand with connor when he said he won't look back when some old man says hello from a distance. And I don't understand why the two weebs was roosting him for that. Like I won't look back if someone I didn't know was calling me. Ever heard of not to talk to strangers.
