Thanks for the shout-out! I have since added parts for the thick old PSU and I am using it on my printer! I had the same problem with the t-nuts on one side but when the nut is rotated it fits on my printer
Ответитьjust discovered your channel. hope youre doing well. was hoping there was a part 2 to this video.
ОтветитьAnd now you can just buy a v3 ke for 300 bucks. Same speeds for way less.
ОтветитьGeiler Typ! Geiles Video! Geiler Drucker!
Ответитьdudes voice sounds AI generated
Ответитьnext step: home made AMS
ОтветитьPut a muffler on it haha
ОтветитьI love how the Trex did yoga throughout the video.
much love!
What happened to that x axis? I don't mean the linear rails, I mean the motor and the belts. What's going on there?
Ответитьbrooo 800 euro ender, true legend
ОтветитьIve just fixed my anycubic chiron after months of figuring out how to get around the hub board it broke and hardly any parts online i am a bit gutted i wanted to keep tinkering but its done :( I am going to turn it in to a veron but with a 400mm2 bed.
ОтветитьGermans here!
ОтветитьI have 3 E3V2s, would it be worth it to turn one of them into something like this? I would like to know the actual cost of the hardware necessary to build this
Ответитьender free
ОтветитьI will go with bambu A1 and will drop ender 3 from my window! ;)
ОтветитьExcellent video and Psychological profile of a typical Printer owner. Made me laugh many , many times. Thank you!
ОтветитьPretty funny for a German. Sorry, for an Austrian. :)
ОтветитьAwesome video! I'm in the same seat as you were. I have a old ender 3 which i just cant throw away, so im planning on upgrading it with New Glass Bed, BIGTREETECH SKR Mini E3 V3.0, BLTouch, fresh bowden tube and maybe a new hotend. But after seeing this i think i need another Z-axis rod aswell. hmm.
ОтветитьI view modding my ender 3 as a more affordable way to force myself to become knowledgeable about how 3d printers work both electrically and mechanically. My first 3d printer was a folgertecjh prusa i3 which I could never get to work after the first print. The Ender 3 was my first real working printer. It has way more successes than failures. And Through Modding it and taking it apart and putting it back together I've learned a lot
ОтветитьWOW that is fantastic! Great job , very impressed
ОтветитьOne thing that I noticed is that it didn't have vibration compensation
ОтветитьHow is this the most expensive? I've seen some crazy shit, and mine alone is close to this. Just with an ender extender, micro swiss ng revo cr touch and hardened nozzle to print carbon fibre.
ОтветитьThis is me, except I haven't done the belt z conversion yet
ОтветитьAll that and the prints still look like shit.
ОтветитьThank you for Tinkering instead of buying an x1c and do tiktoks! Keep it up i like your channel much
ОтветитьSad, slow, clapped out ender 3. Damn.
Ответитьi have retired my ender 3, and purchase anycubic kobra 2, cheap and fast print
ОтветитьThis dude deserves so many more subs
Ответитьwhale whale whale, i here some österreich
Ответитьbetter tittle would be : " I PRINTED 3D PRINTER WITH MY OLD 3D PRINTER " xD
ОтветитьAt that point why didn’t you just buy the Bambu lab p1s combo?? It has faster speeds, enclosure, multi color capabilities and maybe a worst screen but it is all around better
ОтветитьI’m doing something similar with my Ender 5 pro and the trident blueprint. Well worth it when you find it fun
ОтветитьNice video but you spend to much time and money 😮
ОтветитьDang! This is awesome!
ОтветитьI learned a lot with my Ender 3 and I enjoyed my time with it. But I needed to get quality prints fast as possible without it failing most of the time without needing to upgrading each part. So X1C it is. Add one more to irresponsible purchase.
ОтветитьGood for you mate!
All the nay sayers, in my opinion, are not appreciating the satisfaction you have gained from building this absolute MONSTER of a printer!
👊
I have a 4 year old 1st Gen Ender 3 with a few printed upgrades and a SKR mini main board upgrade and it still serves me perfectly for my printing needs.
Like you, I'll be using this for years to come but will replace and upgrade parts as they deteriorate!
Youv'e earned a subscriber and I look forward to watching more of your uploads.
😁
Nice! Regarding "being worth it," I think the answer is more nuanced than just the cost of the upgrade. You're repurposing some hardware that would probably end up in the trash. I'm in favor of keeping these junk Creality printers out of the trash as long as possible!
Ответитьan other thing better on this then a bamboo lab is that the ender 3 is completely open source and local, and will there fore continue working even if creality shuts down, i would not say the same about bamboo lab
ОтветитьGreat topic, thanks for it, 👍
ОтветитьAnd im over here on the verge if throwing out my e3 pro because i cant replace anything else to try and get it to work unless i order new aluminum extruded bars
ОтветитьI'm certainly not upgrading any Ender 3 machines, but man that was an entertaining video! Subbed. Keep up the good work & continue eating oreos at the speed of light
ОтветитьGreat for 800$ you can get a semi professional out of the box printer which is better in all parts. But I get it .. it’s the experience 😂
ОтветитьWhat tool head is that!?
Ответитьjust buy a bambu lab printer
ОтветитьDamn
ОтветитьHy! And more expensive than voron trident 350. I don't wanna count my conversion, better... 😂😂😂 nice build bra! My is almost in the finish line 🎉
ОтветитьI also have an Ender3 (well actually the Pro version). I've updated the hot end to an E3D Revo CR, so I'm good to go with PETG and maybe ABS. I got a WhamBam PEI build plate too. I also have an HP T520 thin client to run Klipper (have you tried buying a RPi recently?) I'm thinking of doing the Switchwire conversion, but I'll likely print the parts in PETG. I know that Voron doesn't recommend the use of PETG, but as I have no use for ABS, and therefore won't put my printer in a chamber, PETG will be fine. I've used PETG for parts on a previous Repstrap that I build, and I've never had a part failure. Besides, I can't stand the smell of ABS melting!
BTW, to upgrade the original Ender3 to a SW, you'll have to buy one piece of 4040 extrusion. I assume you did.
What area of Germany are you from? Your accent is very similar to Werner Herzog's
