This one shocked me. I am an avid collector and saw this and though 20 bucks tops. Condition wasn't that good..no bag. No cardboard backing etc.

i really wished i got into these comics years ago, its possible i might have picked up one from somewhere, having never seen the film, or if i have it was many years ago and has gone from my memory, although i do get the general idea of what happened in the book, let alone film, and although i would love to have a copy of this comic for my self, and i do understand the whale wins in the end, not only do i wonder what people thought of the book when it first came out, because possibly whaling was still going on at the time, although thankfully these days whaling isn`t really done anymore, or at least not in the numbers it once was, and hopefully the whale population these days is at least larger than it was, when whaling was being carried out on an industrial scale, and should i be worried that this seller keeps saying hes going to get his father a book on whaling, at least i think it was his father, and i`m not sure what i`m supposed to think about someone who really wants to read a book about this brutal and barbarous act, unless off course, it has a modern outlook on the subject of whaling, and although tells us about whaling, hopefully it also tells us why it should be banned, and tell us about how beautiful whales are, and their natural history.

you know its funny... they always ask how much do you want... then they call their "expert" and you know they told them how much the customer wanted... expert to stay on the show just about always come in below asking price.... the better way to do it is say I know nothing about this let me call in an expert and the come up with a price!!! SMDH
