You forgot windows in your plans. Don't feel bad, I have watched 4 people try to build a house. It's enlightening. When you go to order online, on the top left click mission. It will show you what you need to buy. But yes the game wants you to go in order, because you are still in the tutorial. I'm really excited about this game, but after watching so many people struggling... It's obvious that the instructions need work, or were all just dumb. Lol I believe it's the first. Thank you for your hard work and time, I'm really enjoying watching this game.

Does anyone know how to build a basement? I know one of the contract missions where you had to buy a staircase for the person's basement.
