Thx for the helpful info.!!!!!
ОтветитьAwesome info Bro!!!
ОтветитьGood video Doctor. : )
Ответитьtake a look at a new gun. you don't need to spend more than 800 for something really sweet.
ОтветитьThanks
Ответитьgreat video. I was wanting to decrease the distance the grip safety needed to be pushed to disengage it. Got my 1911 to work perfectly. thanks!!
ОтветитьThanks for the excellent video and explanation.
ОтветитьDude this video is great thank you so much. i've been struggling with the same thing with my RIA 9mm. Ima give this a shot and i'll keep you posted. I hope it does the job. First grip safety issues ive had out of my like 5 1911. crossing fingers.
Ответитьmight also be a stiff leaf spring, so keep that in mind too. thanks
ОтветитьThanks video helped a lot! I adjusted my trigger to take up all the pre-travel and my grip safety wouldn't engage. Video showed me how t fix it
ОтветитьI love your video. You seem very knowledgeable. This is great how you walk us through to make sure you show every particular.I'm a new subscriber!
ОтветитьGood job! Very educational video on the grip safety job. I've seen a lotta guys pin the grip safety, you ever do that.. Do you have a video on pinning it..?
ОтветитьHaha oops, ground it too far, now it's disabled. Oh well, I never liked the grip safety anyway.
ОтветитьYou don't need the grip safety for USPSA competition, so your statement about needing the safety for competition is incorrect. You only need one operational safety for competition, which will be your thumb safety. Pin the grip safety so you never have to worry about it.
ОтветитьGood vid,Man. I learned quite a bit from it. That is a nice pistol. The slide sounds super-smooth. It definitely has some charachter.
ОтветитьVery good video. I was putting a new short Wilson trigger in, and the results were a grip safety which stuck IN and wouldn't return to its normal position without removing the thumb safety pin and resetting everything. The cure was to learn how the grip safety worked, which I had no idea, and following the same process which you demonstrated. I am back in business with the new trigger, thank you.
ОтветитьFiles cut in one direction only and you were filing the grip safety backwards, you push a file not pull.
ОтветитьFiles & sandpaper ... what ever happened to the days where even hobby gunsmiths knew how to use stones ???
Ответитьthank you so much for this video....it was immensely helpful
great easy to understand instructions
Very informative, thanks m8.
ОтветитьThanks for an awesome video. This is just what I need to do to my new Kimber ProCarry.
ОтветитьNow my problem is solved...thanks for your video sir..
ОтветитьI put a new trigger and grip safety in my 1911 now I tried to put my old one in and it's not firing but when I put new one back it works fine do you think the trigger bar is to big?
Ответитьvery good thank you. My grip safety takes a very awkward grip to disengage it and it is my EDC piece. This may help.
ОтветитьGood instructional video. Thanks.
ОтветитьYou are not looking past your politics and party to look at what’s real. You base your commentary off of the lies your told. You sound dumb.
ОтветитьExcellent video and info. I bought my first 1911, a satin nickel Colt Combat Commander, in 1982. I just bought my latest, an SA 4.25 Ronin Operator in 9mm. I'm going to run a bunch of rounds through it, then send it back to SA for a full Cerakoting.
ОтветитьThank you for an easy to follow, great modification. I did exactly as you described on my DW Valor and it now works perfect. Take care, Michael
Ответитьthanks for this video which was just what I was looking for. All my 1911's were breaking only when grip safety was fully depressed. They are supposed to break at about 50 % depressed. I am adjusting all of them. I'd rather actually have a grip safety that breaks when I touch and grab it.
ОтветитьThank you very much for this video. You saved me a lot......... of Tylenol. Carefully, filing & polishing the part of the grip receiver you pointed out worked like a charm. Awesome shirt btw!
ОтветитьThank you very much. My Auto Ordnance needed to be depressed almost 90% of the way before the hammer could drop. Now, it works much more reliably after filing down the right part of the grip safety.
