What to Expect from a Breast Ultrasound Exam

Any advice for a man that has to have this done? I have to go in for a 4 quadrant diagnostic ultrasound on Monday. The mass was located in the upper out quadrant around my nipple towards the armpit

I just got one because I felt a lump on my nip doctor scanned it said they found no lump didn’t explain why it hurts or what it could be

I myself go in day after tomorrow. I am reassured that they say that the vast majority of them get good news and that 4 out of 5 times there is nothing to worry about. I have so much to look forward to and I am not keen on having to deal with starting to have cancer just now. I guess, likely it is because up until this year I got 2D and this year I decided on 3D, and it picked something up. Besides, I just looked up the early symptoms of the breast cancer and I just checked and none of them seems present on me.

I'm 21 I have a lump of my right breast and it bothers me knowing that my aunt died because of breast cancer. I'm going for a test tomorrow I hope I can receive a good news 🙏

When should I get a mammogram ? I’m 20 and my grandmother passed away 14 yrs ago from breast cancer at the age of 40.

I'm getting my ultrasound on... the 17th I believe... and I'm very nervous. I don't want to have cancer. I've been through two mammograms. There's definitely something there.

i’ve never even had a mammogram but i have a weird lump in my armpit that’s grown pretty rapidly the past few months so i’m getting an ultrasound done on it in a week or two, so this was helpful to know more about what to expect as i’m extremely anxious about it, especially since i’ve never done any breast scans before (i’m only 23)
