I truly enjoyed watching this! I have been scared to try flash photography but i'm making the jump in. I recently bought a softbox and a godox ad200 to play with so thank you for explaining how to get started :)
ОтветитьWhat the name or model of that tripod?
ОтветитьThanks for the video! As a newbie trying to learn flash photography, just curious why you didn't put the umbrella on the right side, to fill in the light, since you had natural light coming in from the left? Is this not a good idea?
ОтветитьThank you for making this video and keeping it simple for us newbies! Looking forward to more of your content.
Ответитьsuch an angelic teacher!!!!! you cannot talk to me about confidence after this. thanks man!
ОтветитьI have seen a lot of videos about flash photography, but yours is right on point, well explained, full of practical tips and very informative…you got a new subscriber 👌
Ответитьgreat.
ОтветитьI love the ads disclamer! Its like a cofe in the middle of the morning. And this is truly a througuth on-the-topic video too. Thansk a bunch - helped a lot
ОтветитьThank you so much bro, I came here because you popped up on my recommended and decided to click and you just changed my life😅
ОтветитьWhat kind of tripod do you recommend? Also backdrops and stand for backdrops
ОтветитьWow, that was very helpful and easy to follow. I watch a TON of photography videos. You stand out by a long shot. You have a natural way of teaching and leading. I hope and would encourage you to make more videos. I'd love to see more videos around flash; if this is the budget set up, what does the upgrade look like, and the upgrade after that? How do you shoot different types of portraits (moody, cheerful, stoic, timeless, etc...). How do you get your clients to loosen up in front of your lens (posing, getting them to laugh, get them to feel natural, etc...). I'd love to hear how to shoot other studio work like products or food. I'd love to hear your workflow in editing your photos. I'd also love to hear about breaking into the photography industry; ideas on how to start, how to charge, and how to work your way up to bigger clients. Again, you have a real talent in explaining and walking the viewer through. I wish you the best and am subscribing to your channel.
ОтветитьWch lens did you use to take these portraits ?
Ответитьi found your unique story telling and detailed and friendly explanation rather stunning. i hope you're on the journey of finding the audience your video quality resembles!
i'd love to learn more from your pov of how you developed a variety of skills as a photographer, meaning both practical, as strategic problem solving, e.g. how you would set a roadmap for what you/one want/s to offer in your/their first portfolio and how to reach social standings & clients in the developing phase of networking.
This is the exact same combo I recommend to people regularly. Kudos for not trying to upsell people on more than they need. I encourage the few extra bucks for the black cover like you gave a nod to, and an umbrella diffuser, because then you have shoot-through, shoot-in, and softbox in one affordable package.
ОтветитьDude you’re amazing!!!
ОтветитьThe best sponsored segment ive ever seen. I personally use Godox too and they're great!
ОтветитьThis is a AWESOME video . Most helpful for learning .
ОтветитьGreat. I picked up something new. Adjusting the flash zoom to fit the umbrella. I usually don’t touch it. Thanks 👏🏽
ОтветитьKeep it up i love it a lot from Cambodia
ОтветитьGood tips for beginners, I just watched your video to remind myself about the basics. Highly recommend the rechargable flash battery if you can afford it! Also thank you for making a video where the speaker ain't trying to squeeze as many words as possible per second, extra plus! I see no reason to buy any other brand of flash, Godox makes excellent product for its price.
Ответитьhoping u make more videos, very informative video
ОтветитьU made me lol!
ОтветитьGreat video. Can you share why you used an umbrella vs a soft box modifier?
ОтветитьGREAT intro!!!
ОтветитьWhat a great informative video! I have been on the hunt of such a video through which I can inform myself right about everything you mentioned about ocf photography. A huge thanks and love :)
ОтветитьSubscribed, you need more subscribers, quality and simplicity ❤
ОтветитьYou just a new subscriber. Anyway, which is better: umbrella or softbox for portraits and also for products photography?
ОтветитьGreat explanation
ОтветитьAmazing Video!
ОтветитьI’m interested in the adapter in the thumbnail that lets you shoot vertical. Don’t see it listed in any of the kit recommendations
ОтветитьTHIK
ОтветитьOmg! Thank you so Much Tylor! This video was very Much needed! 🙏🙏📸
ОтветитьQuick question. What’s name of intro music?
ОтветитьGreat video.
ОтветитьThat stand isn’t available anymore o
That you have listed. Can I get another one or are there certain specifications I need to look for? I want to get everything you listed!
Great video. Although I shoot quite a lot in a studio the video was nice to watch. Any more videos coming out? I hit the sub button. 👍🏻😀🇸🇪
ОтветитьI wish I had seen this video a decade ago. It would have saved me a lot of time. Good job.
ОтветитьLove to see apsc love. I use a Sony HVL F32m for my off camera and trigger is the Sony HVL F20m.
ОтветитьFirst video impressions is EVERYTHING..... with saying that, i had to SUBSCRIBE
ОтветитьVery helpful, very fun to watch, I just discover your videos and It's been a blast, love to learn with you. Hi from New York.
ОтветитьThis is a huge help for photographers. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьThanks i am actually starting out on ocf and i find this video very useful
ОтветитьJust got the v860iii and x2t and found your video looking at budget modifiers and setups. I've been a hobbyist for maybe 10 years or so but flash has always intimidated me. Ive realized that flash is just such a game changer though and adds so much dimension and sharpness. A video I'd like to see would be on getting side gigs as a photographer. I have a full time job, and don't think I'd like being a full time photographer, but would love if i could get myself a few portraits here amd there to put money back into the hobby.
Subbed and liked - thanks!
I looked at your gear page because this is a very reliable Budget setup, but I wanted to know more about the blue backdrop you were using in this video and where to get it!!?
ОтветитьIntro = 💯
ОтветитьDefinitely the best flash video I've seen. Thanks.
ОтветитьThis is a very helpful video, and funny. I would have never thought to use a can of Natural Light in the intro.
