It was part of the playlist I put together for my first trip out of my state. The feeling of listening to this music on a travel bus in the middle of the night, with a light rain, is indescribable. With the sum of the unknown and loneliness, it matched the lyrics perfectly.

I know it's a bit too on the nose, but if there is a GTA 6 character trailer for Jason, I really hope this is the song that plays.

I mean the synth sound fits with a vice city type location and the song also literally sounds music played to a car chase.

The lyrics could have some meaning too. Possibly relating to Jason searching for something. Not a thing, but maybe something to live for, or something like that.

I think it could be something like this since all the GTA V character trailers had songs that reflect the characters (Micheal's being Radio GaGa, being about once being great, and possibly becoming great once again.)

Is this about Jason Voorhees? I've listened to it hundreds of times, and I always imagine it's about our favorite hockey and camping enthusiast.

I always liked The Midnight. I hope it's in GTA VI

Trust me when I say, this might sound incredibly sad, being that I’m 41 😂…. but this song also makes me think of let’s say you’re in your 30s or 40s like I am, and you happen to be a guy considering I am a guy so I’m using that for my example 😄, you are a guy that wants a relationship in time meet and minimally, connect with a woman that after a period of time you happen to have a good decent amount of things in common with, this song is like you’re back to being a teenager again and acting that fresh crush, hoping that if there is enough connections there that you already feel that togetherness feeling growing between you too, that, for God‘s sake, you hope never…………….to lose it.

This songs kicks ass

I either like 80s synth music like this that has a slower, but medium paste beat with no lyrics, just the music, but this one has a quicker beat that I like, and I’ve always liked music with quicker beats because I happen to have ADD and was diagnosed with it as a kid so with me having a tad more energy than most people, I know I gravitate towards music with medium fast paced or quick beats like this, but the music and the lyrics and all the other sound effects, this song just goes so well together.

And what’s weird to explain is that I have my phone connected so to speak to the TV so I’m playing this through my PS4 so I can either control the screen through my controller or my phone which would nowadays technology is by a standard just to me simplistically cool 😂, but I’m seeing the front cover of this song and the words the midnight are in the bright, neon, pink sign looking letters and there’s a woman or at least I think it’s a woman in the background. I’m pretty sure it is because of the curvy way, her body is showing, but I am imagining a woman, that’s a stripper but not in the modern day. Context of it, she’s more of like a passionate stripper with a mix of stripper and ballet moves and much like the song I’m a maniac I’m a maniac on the floor and I’m dancing like I’ve never danced before, I see the woman in the album cover for this song, dancing like that, but not as energetically, but she’s dancing in more of a stripper/ballet type form, but with the energy of the woman from Flashdance…… if that makes sense? 😄

I think it’s a bad ass song.

And I’ve never really listened to much of his music, because I’m not an instrument playing person, even though I’ve always liked the drums over anything else, but the person playing the saxophone is playing like he IS….THE.BEST.

This song puts me to sleep.

i forgot to leave a comment when i found this back in 2020 when i was 16. Remembering me and my younger and older cousin used to listen this together every night sitting on the terrace while quarantine, video calling our friends from long distance, chilling. its been 2 years the older cousin went to another country for a new job he got.
