My personal headcanon interpretation of the Cloud birthday discrepancy is that the 19th is Zack's birthday, which Cloud thinks is his because he conflates their histories together. It works because as far as I know Zack has no official birthday.

Why would his birthday matter if it doesnt relate to anything in the entire game? How about the time his mother gave birth? Why not discuss that too?

thing with nomura is that he should not be let near a directing position and stick to art and design, but if you let him loose in the directing chair... boy his potetial for bullshit is immense

Consider this - a lot of the original game would have been way different if certain characters(Aerith and TIfa) just told Cloud the damn frickin' truth the moment they saw him or certain others not named Red XIII or Vincent weren't busy trying to manipulate Cloud for their own gains meaning the rest of the playable cast.

I can't decide between #1 & #5. Cloud and Sephiroth being historically based or the fact that Cloud could've been the Playstation representative in Soul Caliber 2.
